We loaned the best of them (Zanotti) to St.Gallen. The rest isn't even good enough for first team training.

Yeah, he needs a rest. The Coppa tournament needs to be sacrificed as Inter need to concentrate their efforts in the CL and Scudetto races imo. Try Klaassen or Frattesi on the wing. Augusto will probably replace Dimarco on the other wing for the Bologna match. You can play Sensi and even Agoume in the midfield as part of the rotation. Give Stabile a go on defense as well. The injuries/recoveries make it impossible for Inter field Darmian, Mkhitaryan and Acerbi match after match.

Sure, Stabile can play in defence and maybe Bisseck too, but who will play as the right wingback? I want Darmian to stay at home at least for one game.

That's the question isn't? That's why I'd throw someone like Klaassen in at RWB, or dare I say it Sarr. The obvious choices on the wings are Dimarco and Augusto, that's probably the best very short term solution.

Well is pretty amazing to cover 4 of the 11 positions on the field, he will always have plenty of playing-time

The guy is 34. He should not be covering 4 positions, but instead getting rested... some of these players will be useless by the end of january... if you dont have the balls to play a young player in that position for a game, or two, then change the formation. Even Juve and Milan are playing with primavera players cause of injuries... it was clear as day that Darmian was done after 50 minutes yesterday, but he still played 120.. same with acerbi. I have no idea how our coach is not telling that guy to make forward runs, as they bring nothing to our game and only lead to fuck ups.

Y'all overreacting because of one loss in the Coppa (actually a draw that became a loss). If both RWB options are injured, obviously Darmian will play. Can't do anything about that.

Dude is too much of a defensive wingback for him to be our main wingback option, so I'm glad we are getting a more attacking option in Buchanan.

I think this game shows why we do need a wingback. I know everyone wants a striker but wingback is essential imo. I appreciate Darmian but at his age he can't give much offensively which is hugely important for a wingback.

He's an RCB at this point in his career, and a wingback only in emergency situations or if we need to close shop near the end of matches.
