He is not good enough for PSG or Juve. So he may end at Arsenal or max. a team like Roma.

I wonder what is going to turn out of him now that PSG is stacked up. Will he be sold, or would he settle for the bench?

Ronaldo to P$G and Icardi to juBentus is back on the rumour mill.

Mauro Icardi was sold by Inter to PSG on 2 June 2020, exactly one year ago, for fifty million euros plus a further twenty-two million bonuses. The final figure is revealed by FIFA, as part of the investigation into the violation of Third Party Influence where it sanctioned the French club.

Inter, in the last official balance sheet, had simply given the amount of the sale: 49,125,000 euros, with a capital gain of 47,173,000 euros.

At the moment it is not known whether and which bonuses for Icardi have accrued, but it is certainly more than the "approximately" sixty million we were talking about a year ago. That is, a further possible gain for a player who, as known, from 14 February 2019 was no longer in the club's plans. The hope, given the current situation, is that some of the bonus clauses have matured in the past year. This would ensure that Inter would collect more "extra" money from Icardi, perhaps helping the company's finances.

I can't see how an Icardi-Ronaldo swap deal would be good for us. Ronaldo is a huge problem for Juve right now. He has massive wages at the age of 36 while Allegri doesn't consider him important for his plans. Instead he prefers Icardi who, even in his current state, would be an upgrade over Morata. But if they get stuck with Ronaldo, Allegri will be forced to go with an attacking duo of Dybala and Ronaldo, either with Dybala as SS or AM, and i can't see it working well.

This financial argument is correct:
I don't know about that. Ronaldo out of Juve would release lot of resources for them to be used to the squad.

But this I don't agree:

Man, you are talking about Serie A no.1 difference-maker. Age 36 or what doesn't matter. Look at his physicality. Ronaldo can still smash both 1993 Argentinian divas in a duel and carry them on his shoulder in the way out.

Correct. Financially it does make a lot of sense for them. But sporting wise you are losing a lot imo. It’s not easy to replace the amount of goals he scores. You’re going to essentially have to hope Chiesa keeps his form from the Euros all season plus Kulusevski takes a step up and Icardi returns to some type of form.

Sign me up for watching Icardi trying to link with Chiesa and Kulusevski as inverted wingers. He couldn’t do it here, he couldn’t do it at PSG, and he won’t at Juve. He really is just a poacher.

Realistically the only way this helps from a sporting aspect is they no longer have a player that is unbenchable. Ronaldo is a player who as fantastic as he is doesn’t really have a natural position anymore. You have to set the whole team up to play for him. So with him gone Allegri can play whatever formation he wants.

Id make a wager that if Icardi does come Morata still plays more then him.

Losing Ronaldo enables Juve to build themselves again, like thatdude said. And not just football-wise but also financially. They would have the funds to improve the squad, also long term.

personally I hope Juve keep Ronaldo. Sure, he's the biggest difference maker, but at the same time, he's also retiring soon either way - the longer Juve are dependent on him, the harder it'll be for them to wean off him. Plus, if they keep him this season, they take another 25mil amortisation and 50-60mil salary costs? I hope they extend him :D
