Icardi's flaws were there before but maybe Jovetic's presence brought them more to light. He might look even worse in some aspects of his game with Jovetic around.

Jovetic on the other hand, being technically far superior than Icardi, acts as the center of our attack. For him it's as if Icardi is there to bounce the ball off of him, play one-two, to open up space for him or, eventually, be one of his option for an assist.

Icardi should adept, preferably using those chances Jovetic and others create for him, but that could mean his ability to be more involved will deteriorate, one that doesn't come naturally to him and one he's just started to focus on/develop.

Perhaps but I somewhat disagree on the last point since our goal against Milan came when Icardi dragged Zapata away from Guarin's range. He knew Guarin's tendencies and main strength so you could say he helped set it up.

It's pretty farken hard to like him even if you're an Interista tbh.

Besides what went down with Wanda and their obnoxious posts on social media, I don't see much wrong with him.

He looks and dresses like most people his age. And he has a young family so at least he isn't out clubbing and bullshit every night. His on field conduct has never been that bad: I don't see him constantly insulting teammates like Ibra or having dummy spits like Balo. In fact he seems quite well liked by teammates (always in photos, hangs out with them outside of football) which is why I'm probably not as against him as captain as some others here are.
