I think he could make almost any goal, except the ones where he has to take on defenders by dribbling. As for out of box shots, he usually doesn't even attempt them. I can definitely see him scoring 25-30 on a good season. 30+ would be impossible with his overall skill level.

That's exactly my point though. Those goals I pointed out all involved Higuain makes spectacular dribbles, or taking shots from outside the box. Something Icardi will never do.

Its tricky situation TBH, we sell him most fans would lose their minds and we probably wouldnt find the right replacement. Keeping him is the right move we need to build on the team not lose key players but man I hope the Curva Nord shit on him for this. Also, sidebar Higuain has his best season at 29 with the team that has created the most chances last serie a season. Higuain is not that good of a forward he had an incredible year carried great form throughout but he is not that good Icardi can easily get there by 29

seriously five millions are far too much. milito, maicon, samuel, cambiasso, sneijder, stankovic and zanetti were all below of that.
sure, wages tend to inflate in football, just as the transfer fees do. but he did get an improved contract last season and should be satisfied with it, because he didnt become really better in terms of results. its a fact.

i would maybe offer him 5 millions, but just if there are like 1,5mil performance related bonusses. he has to improve to earn more. simple as that
