If Icardi beats Meazza by staying like he is now he'll be known as the guy with tons of longevity but without a very high peak. He simply has to have a few seasons where he's a lot better than he is now to compare to other greats. Icardi right now has his record against Juventus. That's about it.

When milito came to us he was already a polished and experiences striker. Icardi is still young and developing year over year. But I agree...even if he scores tons of goals, unless he can deliver multiple league titles and/or a champions league crown, I don't think he will replace the place milito has in all our hearts.

But Icardi without a doubt is a more ruthless finisher.

Coming from a constant criticizer for his gameplay, I've voted him MoM.

He knew how to pull a penalty from an idiotic kick by that defender, and beated two players into a header without being static. Basically finished off the game and saved us the trouble early. These little details win games. Well done.

Icardi is indispensable for this team. I wouldn't sell him for the world right now. He's still not my type of striker, but I absolutely love the way he scores almost every time you need him to. "Almost" every time, he does go anonymous from time to time. However, we would definitely not be better off without him.

icardi is so unpredictable player, despite not being too strong he is still too difficult to mark.

his ability to get in the space/chance is amazing. though he should have scored his third goal tonight.

he looked more hungry to score in the first half. i want to see more of that.
