Reports saying the transfer budget is 0. :)

Lets hope we reach the ucl finals next year as well, so we can once again have this kind of money.
Grande. That means probably more old guys and a few questionable loans, even after we sell some at a discount cause everybody knows Inter's financial situation. Man, this summer is going to be brutal.

Italian clubs are fucked up when it comes to finances and ownership. I mean what is the the difference between cheap Chinese investment and rich Arab oil money? So every year there is a struggle, who to sign for free, in their 30s, less salary , local mid table talent. Look at United, getting a bid from Saudies for a few billion dollars. Money does not smell, boys and girls. Inter is not the last team among the top leagues. We deserve better quality. Recycling Lukaku, Dzeko and a few others won't be the solution.

How is zero transfer budget news for anyone?

Let me tell you how this works, for hundredth time. We need to reduce our losses every season. We are gonna make losses this season as well, even with the CL money. Yes this season is now, ending this month. CL money is slotted to this season's books. If we hadn't had this marvelous CL run, we would have had to sell a player to generate plusvalenza already in this month, before July. That would have forced our hand, forced us to make an unfavourable deal.

Now we don't have to do that. But July comes the new season and new demands for making plusvalenza. Remember last summer we made some plusvalenza but not enough. We postponed it to this June but then the CL run happened. Well now, when the new season starts, there's the new demand for plusvalenza again. And I guess depending on the offers on the table, we will sell to generate that plusvalenza and won't postpone the sales to 2024 June. Or maybe we do. But it's super delicate situation given the looming deadline for the Oaktree loan.

So Onana will be gift wrapped this month, but officially sold in July. That's the syuzhet.

Based on rumours so far this is what they're planning:

Vicario/Onana
Koulibaly/Chalobah - Acerbi - Bastoni
Dumfries - Barella - Hakan - Mkhi - Dimarco
Lukaku - Lautaro

Handanovic, Cordaz
Darmian - De Vrij - Bisseck/ new young cb
Bellanova - Frattesi - Asllani - Fabian?/new midfielder - Gosens/Augusto
New CF - Correa/New SS

Obviously things could change. They could fail getting some of those while there could be some emerging targets who don't look realistic now but that's the initial plan.

if the price and wages are right, new midfielder should be Hakimi/Perisic. More like Perisic. It would be a good squad. No Carboni?

I doubt we're re-signing Hakimi, considering his cost, and I dont want us to re-sign Perisic (age, salary, need to move on, etc).

Carboni if we seriously think he'll get enough game time to develop - if not, put him out on loan so he can develop

Hakimi would be expensive for sure and his legal issues. But Perisic would be good for 2 years He is Miki's age, 34. He knows the system, in great shape.

We have Dimarco and Gosens, why do we need Perisic? If that's about to happen Gosens must be sold first, and then we would have to pay some nominal fee at least to Tottenham and him to decrease his salary significantly.

He is better than both.
He is worth 10 mil right now. He can do 3-4 mil wages for 2 years.

Wasnt FFP put in so clubs wouldnt go bankrupt or be sold constantly?we have no budget, we need some super scouting, maybe promote primavera players and some smart buys.

Really wish were trying to steal players from our competition with some blockbuster moves, Raspadori & Kim from Napoli, Tonali from Bilan, Chiesa from Juve, SMS from Lazio.

@CafeCordoba, I'm not into these financial isuses and have no clue how does it work regarding plusvalenza and everything else. But how come other clubs have still managed to invest insane amount of money despite not getting results or not selling enough to compensate their investment, and they still get away with it?

I feel like these rules apply only for Inter. I thought we should at least have a small budget to spend in this transfer market without having to count on sales.

I can't really answer for other clubs, I don't know their finances well enough. Chelsea has been trying to trick the amortization costs by giving huge terms to their new players, like 8 years or something.

my thing I don't get how we don't have money to get new players we are letting like 6+ guys leave for free but we also can't afford to give youth a shot or have them on the bench. It's better to give De Vrij 4m a season to not play in case we need him. FK I hated Rano who was at 1.5m a season who never played.

Wages add up and having 5th string guys making that = your starters want that or better. So if you do bring a guy in they want that amount as well. they don't end up working you have to give them a golden handshake because no one wants to take on their wages.

I hope to god we don't resign De Vrij. Anyone older than 22 on loan comes back and is either sold or on the bench.

GK: Onana, x, Cordaz (I'd resign Handa on lower wages if we sell Onana in case the new goalie sucks and we need to replace them in January)

CB: Acerbi, Bastoni, Darmian, (god I hope he goes to Turkey or Arabia - de Vrij), x (on loan Pirola, Vanhuesin, use the youth players we had at the end of the season for the remaining bench)

RWB: Dumfries, x (Lazaro..... he starts for Torino if we can't sell him or have someone to pay his wages he is the back up)

LWB: Dimarco, Gosens (hope he is sold and we promote someone from the youth team or a better bench option)

CM: Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Brozovic, Asllani, x (Agoume, Carboni, Fabbian, Sensi all better bench options than fking GAGS)

ST: Lautaro, Correa (hope we can use him as part trade), x, x (Colido, Esposito, Mulattareri, Gaetano, Satriano give them all a shot)

there Spent $0

our starting line up is fine we just need a better bench.... resigning the garbage in our bench isn't a smart options financially nor for the future.
