Stankovic out for a long time (fuck him anyway), Mudingayi, Samuel injured time after time, Milito is out for the season, Natalino suffers heart attack, Sneijder gets "sold" to Galatasaray, we sign Rocchi, Alvarez is still developing, Strama keeps the 3-5-2, we lose embarrasingly to some inexistent teams, summer signings failed, questionable signings in January, and I don't even want to think about what is going to happen soon. Might not even qualify for EL

last year inter we in the relegation zone at some point, our big signings were forlan zarate and palombo, we played 8 defenders with milito and pazzini upfront, failed to get a single win in 50+ days, and couldn't make the top 3 throughout the whole season, but i guess having silvestre on the bench sucks too

I don't know if any one here plays FM, maybe everyone despises it, but if you have attempted to manage Inter through the 2012/13 season you understand Strama's problem.

We have two strikers (plus now Carew, and the crocked Prince), one can give up and get frustrated quite easily (Cassano), the other is good technically, but not a great athletic specimen (Palacio).

Our squad overall lacks pace, although the problems in midfield (re: pace) have been resolved to a large extent with Gargano (still on loan, though), Guarin and Kovacic. It still leaves the problem of a lack of creativity, which guess what, Coutinho and Sneijder provided (or were meant to).

We have a future CB pairing of Juan and Andrea Ranocchia that can last us 5 or 6 years. But both still have to develop, so the next 18 months may be painful at times, due to their 'growing pains'. Fullbacks are a problem. We have two FBs good enough for the first XI, Zanetti and Nagatomo, but both are average, and neither is well-rounded (i.e. capable of attacking and defending). The backup FBs are god awful, the back up CBs are aging (Samuel) and average (Silvestre).

That leaves the wings. We just added Schelotto, so at least we can now say we have a RW (Palacio was technically our RW before EzS arrived), while I guess that leaves Alvarez as the LW.

One thing seriously lacking is depth. We would do well to get new first choice fullbacks for next season, and have Zanetti and Nagatomo as rotational/back up players, at best. If we don't buy Gargano then we will need to add another midfielder. And of course, a quality striker is very high up the list.
