don’t feel optimistic about the Skriniar extension at all. PSG can give 10mil net contract easy and have greater chance of winning UCL in the present moment. The highest we can go is probably 6.5mil and the captaincy.

The biggest problem for me are do Skriniar trust inter management? i mean do they wanted to extend his contract because they dont want to sell him at all or are they wanted to extend his contract so that they can sell him later with high fee?
If i were Skriniar i think i should know already which one is the right answer...

You might be right about that but I do not think that handing him the Captaincy is a token and empty gesture: it means alot and not every player in Inter's history has the privilege of wearing the armband.

Of course, based on your post, it could be argued that the club is using the captaincy as a weapon to sway him and could nonetheless sell him once he signs. But i feel this would devalue the importance of the captaincy and the legacy of the players that have proudly worn the armband before him.

I think I said it already before the season started or smth. That PSG can offer 10M€ net and their free signing bonus is even bigger than Inter's 5 year contract total value.

I believe Skriniar can still be convinced to stay. By Barella, Brozo, Lauti, Bastoni you know, the core. All of them have longer contracts. 6M€ is now not enough , its almost November. Brozo style negotiation won't work here, as PSG really wants him. Targeted him for 2 seasons.

7M€ net +1M€ bonus, vice captaincy. 4 year contract. These are the specs imo.

But not only PSG, if it drags longer. There will be top EPL teams and Real Madrid too.
