Unfortunately clowns that run Inter are responsible for this.

I'm not surprised I would have liked him to stay but the contract the potential to play with MMN and compete for a CL all played a part obviously.

People here didn't like him much since he been playing in a 3 man defense so it's sad to see him get the armband then leave but again when clowns run Inter this is the result.

Skriniar made his choice. Life goes on. Now we need to see how we replace him. Players come and go. Only Internazionale remains in the end.
i don't think zhang/suning and the board really care with "Internazionale" things.

His best performance was under Spaletti, especially his first year here with world class performance. With Conte, he was horrible in the first year (worse than SDV's current level) and turned decent in our Scudetto season. Last season, he was average at best, and for our current one, he was terrible again (Acerbi is miles better).

It's hard to say he's one of the best CBs in the world when he has only one world class season when he's almost 28. The main problem is that we have no money to get a decent replacement, unless we somehow turn smart with our scouting.

Dated 2021 December 28. So how long Skriniar had to wait to get the same salary of our core? . Can someone here , trashing Skrin iar , can answer? He's in the top5 players in our squad, but getting paid less than fucking Correa! Almost on the same salary with Mikhytarian for crying out loud! And he came in as a bench player to play as a substitute. A 33 year old retiree from Roma.

"Oh, he gets to wear the armband, he doesnt need money! "

We have huge contracts for Lukaku, Lautaro, Brozo, then Dzeko and Hakan, then comes Barella, DeVrij, Correa.

But Skriniar is still waiting to get paid as a core team member.

Honestly this club maybe needs the biggest icebucket wake up when they sell this guy for measly broken beggar 10 M€ and we struggle to get past Atalanta in Coppa and lose the 4th place in May 2023. There's 18 matches left to play and we can be 2nd or 6th with one mistake of a weekend. We don't have a 15pt gap with Roma, Atalanta and Lazio.

If we spend this incoming 10-15M€ on another 33 year old English CB with braids and pay him more than Skriniar gets, I will fucking lose it , man.

So, you just picked up one random rumor from one of the most unreliable sources, presented it as a truth, and built up whole fucking theory around it. Splendid.

With our latest offer he would become the best paid CB in the whole league.

We can't compete with PSG salaries obviously. Would have liked more honesty from him.

Also a massive mistake by the club for reading the situation so wrong. Do they learn from this? They could have learnt from Donnarumma case which was pretty much the same case (Kessie/Calhanoglu were a bit different)

Every underappreciated and underpaid player leaves the club to get what he (and his agent) believes he deserves.

I'll remember him fondly, because he had more good seasons than bad ones.

We are gonna be fucked against Porto without him

Obviously the new contract would have been on the same level as Brozo or Lautaro. My point was ( that Schira tweet) there was a time to renew his contract for +1 000 000 M€ salary upgrade until 2026 to the same level as DeVrij.

But we waited and waited . We waited with Brozovic until freaking March , with 3 months to go until he can walk free. We did not learn from Meelan mistakes, from our own mistakes.

You need to prioritize your best players, 70M€ worth assets . Skriniar is a player who we have relied on 5 years, he's not been injured, only few reds in that time, always performing well. Here comes Mikhitaryan, walking in from bitch ass Rome, getting exactly the same salary as a bench player vs a CB who has carried our asses 5 years.

For fucks sake.

Being frugal with contract negotiations make us lose more money in the end, funnily.

Yes, u are right.
I think Inter managment doesn't rate Skriniar as much as we do around here.

If he wanted to stay and be the legend of club than waiting of our managment, all this stuff wouldnt be an issue. He would accept salary same as Brozo and Lautaro and thats it. He didnt and he choose more money and playing with best players in world, and thats it. People who identify player with club are ridiculous. He is not first not last that did thing like this. Move on. Darmian was good yesterday on that position, hope it will be enough to secure top 4 and hopefully we gonna get rid of Suning in a years time and get healthy owner.

wouldn't you say Suning was a healthy owner when he first came here? On one hand it's not their fault that the Chinese government said: DOSTA/ENOUGH/够了

the biggest problem right now is that they aren't selling the team but rather trying to dismantel all the good work we have done to make this team a competitive one.

And? So they were healthy when they came and? How does this matter right now? DeVrij was also great two seasons ago, so we should keep him till he dies? How thats helping the club to stay rellevant? Or we wanna another banter era that we are entering slowly and painfully. If we fail to reach top 4 there we are, we are not far away from that arent we? So I dont really know what it means that they were healthy once upon a time..They are the cancer and they are ruining everything right now. If they cant fix this shit they need to fuck off, this is not some mickey mouse chinese club, this is one of the greatest and biggest club in the history of this game.

The last time I heard the final offer from Inter to Skriniar are still under Brozo and Lautaro, and the fact that if he accepted that offer Inter are guaranteed will still try to sell him again first before they sell Lautaro, Barella, Brozo maybe just after Dumfries make it easier for him i guess to leave..

This is 100% on the club, not the player. Skriniar has been way too professional. He's doing the right thing by leaving specially that this club clearly has no future with the Chinese still fucking around.
