Yeah, but is it worth jeopardizing our chance for a champions league place (which lazio are direct rivals for)? A loss in either game would be morally devastating, but what worries me right now is that a Lazio loss would most definitely represent a parallel to the standard Inter winter collapse, and if the players believe in this trend it'll certainly become a self fulfilling prophecy

Personally I prefer financial stability to a coppa title (which is far from a sure thing even if we win against Milan).

It's not a sure thing that we'll get a champions league spot whether we rest players or not, but still I guess the question comes down to what you prioritize, and I certainly want our team to work towards a return to financial competitiveness

Right but knowing our team a loss against Milan can lower morale even more and lead to a bad result against Lazio.

Against Pordenone we rested our players, yet playing 0-0 against them had more negative effects on the club.

Padelli starting is okay. He's supposed to play in the cup, even if we reach the final I guess. The rest looks acceptable whether it's Joao Mario & Eder or Valero & Perisic. I'd prefer the first choice though.
