We need to start the trio Vecino-Gag-Valero this game:

Padelli
Cancelo-Ranocchia-Skriniar-Nagatomo
Vecino-Gag
Karamoh-Valero-Perisic
Icardi

Valero will be most likely rested for the Lazio game, well I'm pretty sure...

A useless derby game after two losses and before the most important game this season. Vomiting worthy.

Wtf Miranda is out now too after D'Ambrosio?Wow so for Inter it never rains but pours :palm:.

Going into the Lazio match with 3 straight defeats will be a Herculean task to recover from psychologically. So i dont think we can afford to rest our key players - well whatever is left of them now anyway.Lets just hope Milan dont decide to suddenly remember how to play football and are even more fragile than us.

If I had to guess

i would play Nagatomo as the right FB and Dalbert on the left. Cancelo can be fielded as our right wing and Eder on the other side while have Joao Mario play as trequartista.

Padelli
NAga-Frog-Skriniar-Dalbert
Brozo-Vecino/Gags-Mario
Karamoh-Eder-Cancelo

Pls try this Spalloman
I feel Karaboy could score here

Cancelo can help Dalbert in df...
I want to see some 4-3-3 from Spallo ffs
My favourite formation that has some stability and balance and god knows we need it...

I dont even know how to feel about eder and karamoh anymore

I used to be all for them getting playing time (karamoh for development, eder because tactical diversity), but every since the Pordenone game time I've seen nothing but serious flaws in their play.

I have little hope that they will turn it around for the Milan game, but then what choice do we really have. Rotation is probably a necessity

^ Eder should've stayed at Sampdoria lvl kinda club because here he's just a running horse with a powerful but inaccurate shot, good enough here for last 10 minutes or if Icardi is not available at all...

Karamoh on the other hand, being younger than G. Barbosa, has shown interesting potential so far, but top italian teams need to go back to loaning players so they can adapt to Serie A without rotting in the bench (this includes Dalbert).

Eder's a lot better than what he's shown in the previous matches. (I didn't say he was good, but better.) I was incredibly disappointed in him in the Pordenone match but it seems that was the match where the entire team just decided to collectively nosedive together? What the hell happened to Perisic? He looks completely impotent. He looks both unwilling and unable to beat his man and deliver crosses (which he did with complete impunity right up until the Chievo match) and his overall involvement in recent matches has drastically decreased. That means 80% of the attack goes through Candreva (also playing terribly) which is fucking infuriating and part of the reason he was so ineffective and criticised to begin with.

As I mentioned previously, Valero as AM is only acceptable when he starts a match there. If he plays there in the second half when he's already exhausted, he may be the most useless prick to ever play AM. (Another reason I was against this Banega / Valero 'swap' but irrelevant). Gagliardini seems even more pedestrian than he's ever been. A tackle here, retains possession there, holds his position here, relieves pressure there.. otherwise he seems completely invisible. A non-factor in our offense and frequently out of position defensively. If he's not going to offer anything extra, a fucking primavera player could do the same basic tasks.

I swear to God, losing to Milan here would be a disgrace. Even moreso than failing to beat a Serie C team over 120 minutes.

Karamoh, Cancelo and Mario must play. Preferably Dalbert too. I don't want to see Candreva ever again let alone for another 120 minutes here.

Honestly I think match fitness might be getting to us

Spalleti didn't properly rotate for most of the first part of the season. Perisic, Icardi, and Skriniar played an absurd amount of minutes this season (same with Candreva and Valero to a lesser extent)

Aside from Skriniar, all of these players have been seriously underperforming as of late and I highly doubt that's due to chance.

It's a shame that even without Europe our squad depth isn't sufficient. The only place we really have first team subs is in our midfield, which I think is only because it's the weakest part of the pitch (besides LB and RB)

Is it really an absurd amount of minutes? 18 matches in 4 months? We have no Europe to worry about, without looking at stats I would guess that Dzeko, Higuain, etc. have played more minutes than Icardi has. I don't think asking them to play 1 match a week is really all that demanding.

More squad rotation would be nice, but like you said our squad depth isn't sufficient. Juve can lose half a dozen starters and still throw out a capable squad. If we lose any 1 of Icardi, Perisic, Skriniar, Miranda, etc. then we're screwed

I see your point about Icardi but in regards to Perisic, he's asked to work harder than most players and has had to constantly cover defensively as well as offensively, so I could see that catching up to him at some point, even if he is an exceptional athlete.

Wait what? Is Padelli playing? God I hope not, we definitely need handanovic in goal for this one he has the character and if needs be, he is an excellent penalty saver, I just hope Spalletti doesn’t underestimate this game and play the backups, I hear Perisic might be out too which might actually be a good thing.
