I would gladly give more chance to Shaqiri and Brozovic, but right now Kondogbia and Salah are better option. They pointed El Sha out, but then every great player has his first half season where he's great right?

Yes Salah is better than Shaqiri but Perisic is not! Operations wanted by Mancio are Shaqiri = Perisic and Santon = Zukanovic, nobody at this forum wants this operations or 90% of FIF at least, but Mancini is the boss!

There is no doubt Salah is talented but I fail to understand why do we want to sell Shaqiri and sign Salah instead since IMO their styles of play are somehow similar.

Both Shaqiri and Salah come from the same system of counter attacking football at Basel and both used to rely mostly on speed to beat their opponents. Salah more so than Shaqiri. Since Mancini likes to play possession football, we need clinical forwards who are good in tight spaces and if Mancini thinks Shaqiri has failed at Inter then how on earth could he expect Salah to do well here since Salah is less clinical than Shaqiri and relies even more on his speed?!

Salah was figured out in Serie A after just a few games. I see him doing well in a team like Roma just like Gervinho. Jovetic suits our style of play much better but there is only so much he can do from the treatment room.

In short, both Shaqiri and Salah are better suited for a counter attacking team and if Mancini wants to play possession football, neither of them suits our system.

If it was up to me I would just keep Shaqiri and sign neither Jovetic nor Salah. I would only sell Shaqiri if I could find a better clinical forward.
