Let's do one more comparable - Radja Naingollan was 26 when he went from Cagliari to Roma. He scored a total of 7 goals for Cagliari in 124 mathces before going to Roma. He became a huge player for them.
We ended up overpaying for that same guy a few years later.

Naingollan was not much different back then to Nandez now.

Surprised to read this. I really like the player and believe he would perfectly slot into a bigger team, where he has top level players to combine with. Vecino keeps screwing up all the attacks and loses ball, while Nandez seems the opposite - wins back balls and has good possession and passing abilities.

They're linked with everyone but Juve targets which is ironic considering it's really common for a sporting director to go for targets of his former club.

Paratici is clearly still doing favors to juBe by directly acting against our club: trying to mess with Martinez extension, increased the price of Vlahovic and now the Nandez interference.

Unfortunately for him I don’t think we really want him anymore either. I feel like Inzaghi prefers Dumfries. Perhaps we can still get him as a midfield option.

Giulini is an idiot. Nandez is valuable for us because we are (one of the rare) teams using 3-5-2 and Nandez can cover both MC and RWB.

For other teams, not so much. They mostly use 4-men defense and Nandez can only fit for MC. He is nothing special for that only role. Better midfielders can be found EVERYWHERE at a bargain price. Hakan, for instance, is available for free.

5m+21m from us is more than enough. But greed is limitless, Giulini thinks he can milk more from the only team with real interest. He breaks the promise, both to us and to Nandez himself. Sam Lammers was supposed to be a new Illicic but he’s barely been able to get playing time. Atalanta picking up a potential starter for a bench warmer. Nandez would fit there system really well IMO.

Nandez could be very useful next summer. The contracts of Vidal and Vecino ended. There is enough money to accomodate Nandez (salary + ammortisation). A midfield of Brozo, Barella, Calha, Sensi and Nandez is very good for Serie A and you can also make noise in CL.
