Yeah, we were by far the better team. Napoli got a nice counter goal and they didn't really threaten once outside of that. Let's not worry too much. Our front two let us down, lautaro more so.

No we didn’t. We had a chance to put them away in the first half and failed to do so because this team is mentally still soft.

That Eriksen miss was the end of the game. Would have been a match winning assist by Sanchez.

IMO Sanchez should have come on much earlier for Lautaro. Sensi should have come on for Barella also early in the 2nd half. And in the last 10 minutes, if we were still needing a goal, perhaps Esposito for De Vrij, not Ranocchia. Conte should have shown more aggression with his subs in the 2nd half.

But we cannot really complain. Both teams today (and both yesterday) looked way short of fitness which is only expected. Cannot judge the team on this game, they will need a few weeks to get into gear.

I guess the good news is we don’t have to watch our players get emasculated again by Juve undoubtedly sending us into a run of poor results when we play a game every 3 days from now until forever.

We need to sign some quick players, prefferably forwards and wingbacks because we just can't get out of certain situations and either get beaten or have to pass the ball back. Sensi is the only one who can get himself out tricky situations alongside Lautaro and maybe Sanchez, thats it. Lukaku upfront and in tight angles relies on putting his weight on players and waiting for support, thats it. Hopefully we don't sign more logs like Giroud etc when the window opens.
