He'll have to do it at least one more time to make those voices go down. If Boston win 4-2, I can see media and twitter running rampart, because half of them hate Curry.

Yeah dude shut a lot of critics up yesterday what a game....
then game 5 happened. too hot and cold for me. obviously Curry is the cog that makes the warriors wheel go but he doesn't take over playoff games as often as he should. Like TMac said, he's not top tier Kobe/MJ/Magic.

He played well enough to still be the prime FMVP candidate. Many of the best chances were directly or indirectly created by him. This is currently the best finals he ever had by numbers, no?

Green's numbers are abysmal in the finals, but he had a really good game 5. Klay is getting into the groove and Wiggins is winning the Tatum-Wiggins dog fight.

This finals is important for Steph's legacy. He doesn't have a finals MVP to his name, and had some help from Durant in the later years. Winning this title will put him among the all-time greats.

He doesn't get enough credit for changing the sport.

Some help?

some (including myself) consider KDs move to Warriors the weakest move in NBA history, but Curry (and Dray) making that call to KD in the parking lot after chocking away a 3-1 lead isn't far off. And then letting KD take over your team, not a good look.

He's already considered the GOAT shooter. But you can't be among the all the time greats with 0 FMVPs in 3 finals. I never thought I'd see finals where Wiggins has a better game than Curry but here we are. And we all know Klay taking over game 6 for the ring.

Well he did win a ring without Durant and if he wins one more, just shows that GSW actually is a Dynasty, worthy of Kobe's Lakers or Duncan's Spurs. Curry has already done enough to be considered a legend in this sport, even if he ends his career next week.

This is a rare occasion of me cheering for GSW, but I also wouldn't mind Horford getting a ring.

I ve said it before and i ll say it again imagine callin an athlet weak cause he wants what s best for the team and what helps him winning.
pretty sure all of the NBA was chasing after KD that summer...

The other issue let KD take over your tem it s this fucken thinking why a lot of NBA players wont win shit. It s a team sports and sacrificing some of your shots/ scoring for the team to get better is not something we should critizize. But somehow it s a bad thing.
Also why the fuck does KD get all the leeway? The critique is always on steph but steph won without KD, KD has not won without steph....
Matter of fact KD joined GSW cause he could not get past them despite having a team that in hindsight had a similar amount of talent.

Also for all the steph never stepped up in the finals guys the dude averages 27.1pts 6 assists and 5 rebounds in the NBA finals....

It happened. Maybe not down to the detail but Draymond made the call to KD after the finals.

Joining a 73-9 stacked team you lost to is a weak move for an elite, top 3 of his generation, player. KD took the easy path to a ring, KD know this. that's why he went to the Nets to prove he can carry a team and why he goes back and forth with twitter trolls trying to legitimize his legacy.

That's better than Kobe, but how many FMVPs

I kind of agree on durant it was his easiest way out i just dont see how you bash curry/green or anybody at gsw for that move again every player and team wanted KD to be with them at that point and it is the rights sporting decision so not sure what the argument is...

When the fuck did i say curry is better than Kobe? Also i put his averages out there to show that he could have easily won a finals MVP not to say he s better than players with lower averages... Like when iggy got it it should have been steph but since the media was so in love with Lebron it had to go to the guy who defended him and not the best player on the winning team.
Even when KD was there it would not have been a scandal to hand it to steph...

Even if you put all that by the side he s probably gonna get one tonight or on sunday.

Celtics at 2-1 stopped playing, great win by GS though, fully deserved.

If I have to build a team around Kobe or Curry, I pick Curry. (lol Kobe and Curry are both foods, I am hungry)

Anyway, I am extremely happy, GSW have been building up to this and their dynasty continue

it was the easy way out for the curry/warriors too. If KD's rings look funny under scrutiny, then the same should apply to the all stars who recruited him.
When the fuck did i say curry is better than Kobe?
just making a point. stats without context are meaningless. when did curry make those shots, in garbage time?

In any case, props to curry and the warriors. Meanwhile KD probably going through it, probably shouldn't log onto his twitter accounts for a while

Kobe Shaq Klay Steph Duncan

And i saw all of them at their best in the finals at various points. People will come out with players from 50 years ago in the 90s didnt really watch any finals then.

Its hard to ague that Kobe didnt make the whole team better as well, involved is different because he is a PG.

It's hard to argue this because Kobe was legendary as well. But if we talking preference and building a championship team, I'm picking Curry over Kobe. Maybe because Curry never had a fight with his teammate? Ionno, I just feel he seems such a calming presence, the one that delivers most of the time

Curry makes the whole team better and more involved
if you mean Kobe would never let another player takeover his team and hold up 2 finals mvps in his face, then i agree

Advanced stats show Curry has a better offensive game / team play but you can't measure "will to win". Kobe was the ultimate competitor, 2nd only to GOAT, he gave his all on the court, played through injury and exhaustion, whatever it took to win the game...

En4Gh-pW8AAHun9.jpg

And lets not forget perhaps the most important facet of playoff basketball: Defence

KwmrYe.gif

Kobe has 12 All-Defensive selections to Curry's 0.

I understand all that. Still prefer Curry just a slightly bit. Obviously I wouldn't mind either or in any franchise I would choose. Same with Prime LeBron, Jordan any era or Kawhi.

Compared to all these names, Curry isn't half an athlete, but he made it work his own way and got 4 rings while believing in the project, staying at GSW just like Kobe stayed at Lakers.

Curry has never quit on his team in a finals, unlike Kobe :einstein:

I get the knocks on Steph for not being a complete player, but I think you deserve credit for being the best ever at a specific skill set. Especially when you leverage that skill set into titles.
