I think everybody should prepare themselves on an announcement this summer. Moratti will surely start the building of a new stadium after the recent events. This week has made it obvious which team who truly belong at San Siro. Silvio Berlusconi and Milan has been the masterminds behind the recent improvements, and only thanks to them, we can have people attending the matches. It's been dead silent regarding us.

New stadium within four-five years is my prediction.
All the reports that I've read are indicating that it's all co-work between the clubs and the city. And Moratti was the one who declared instant improvement investment when Galliani said something like it's impossible till October.

Though I have to admit is't been relatively silent from your house since the real work started. Last words from Galliani on our official site are:
...This is what the two clubs have told the Prefect of Milan and hopefully both teams will be able to play in front of their fans.'

I think the reason behind Moratti's silence was the fact that the first San Siro match after the incident would be a Milan home match. Hence, it was the Rossoneri who were in hurry, not us. Had it been Inter's match, I am positive that the role would be reversed.

I am not. Moratti and our players have been as silent as mice. While the likes of Gattuso and Maldini have spoken out about how unfair the fans are being treated. Our players haven't said a word.

I am very disappointed about that. I would have expected them to defend the normal fans.

I am for a new stadium it would give us alot more control.

Might be a valid point that. A new stadium would be exciting.

But 100,000 isn't necessary. We should build a very smartly designed stadium (considering sunlight, pitch quality, capacity).

Then I think you had a blast with the stadiums of the last World Cup ;)

Look I don't see a problem in GM except that it is too expensive to be kept till not because let's face it, it's obsulete.

We will need fr a nw stadium, so does AC Milan

Looks like Moratti is planning our new home to be in Rogoredo (Southeast from the centre). There's a metro station as well, so transportation wouldn't be a problem. Moratti want's a stadium with 70.000 capacity and with a very modern design. They said he loved the stadium in Basel.

Bah, leaving the San Siro is not a good idea if you ask me...

The place just breathes atmosphere... When you're standing in front of it it's really huge :D

Think about the history guys, all of the joy and pain Inter had in San Siro...

Oh God no, I can't really think of another place where Inter could be home

Anyone have any idea when the ban on San Siro will be lifted so that not only season ticket holder can enter?
The low income from ticket this year could be hurting if it continue like this

When the work to get it up to the law is done. Hopefully in time for the derby.

i would assume if moratti were to build a new stadium, the ultras would want to have a nice second tier...

at least 65,000 seater with an incredibly imposing mechanical monolith as a stadium...

preferably a structure designed to keep noise inside so as to maintain atmosphere...

A ultrasesque second tier isnt necessary, whenever we play in the Coppa Italia fans always say they would love to be closer to the pitch - the only reason we dont move is because of the history the CN has and the first tier in the GM isnt too nice.

I'd like the ultras palce upstair, their voiced would be much louder and reach the whole place better and everyone can hear them, not like today's Madrid ultras

Could you have picked a worse comparisation?

200 Ultras Sur vs 8000 Curva Nord, hmmmm.

Look at Sampdoria, Genoa, Atalanta....their Ultras are much nearer to thep pitch.
