To be honest,i like the idea of milan moving, this way inter can buy the GM stadium and re-enovate it,why should we move?this is a great stadium, even if the surface isnt that good at times, when we buy the stadium, this can change.

When the turf gets bad at the new stadium just say what are you going to do then make a new stadium?

The only good things of a new stadium is
Better quality footage maybe for live games
Better facility's

If we change Stadiums could you imagine how hectic it would be in the city of Milano with inter playing and ac playing in there own stadium .

Why cant the san siro just get a new pitch and fix it up a bit?

They have relayed the pitch countless times. The reason pitch is bad has to do with the roof and the pitch not getting enough sun light.

Not enough sun and not enough air, the turf is replaced 2-3 times in one week :dazed:

I respect tradition but if we will be honest Milan came on his stadion first and I never liked that, so that idea with new stadion is pefect for me.

Hmm han, I will base my decision on factors so I cant say yes or no.

Since we are the ones going through the moving, since we will be the ones forking out money, IF Milan decide to help us financially move on then I can say yes.

If not why the heck should we get out and lose all that history? Let them get out.

I have expanded on the poll; choose the option which best describes your opinion on the possibility of a home away from the Giuseppe Meazza. :)

Ciao,
Tim

You should have deleted and created a new poll instead of just editing it bro. Now, it says that I have voted but I guess that vote was deleted as you were editing it. :undecide:

Well, let's discount your opinions from the thread.

Well, to be honest, I completely forgot about that. :embarass:

Incidentally, what did you vote for, anyway?

Ciao,
Tim

At times I think we need a new stadio but then I think it would be weird to see Inter play anywhere else besides the Meazza. It's full of history and it's a cathedral right up there with Nou Camp and Old Trafford. Everyone who follows European football knows the stadio and the two teams that play there.

I'd rather see some renovations than a brand new stadium.

Great thoughts. When you ever have problems on the pitch we'll give you a player or anything you need. Just name it. And money for you to go elsewhere is already being transferred.

I will base my decision too on the factors. If it starts raining money on the new stadium I would be more than glad to see us going. If not then we should stay.

The Meazza is a historical venue. I'd never leave it, for the money we could build a new stadium we could maybe buy it from the city of Milano and kick BBilan out (they wouldn't need it in Serie B anyway :D).

Never leave the S Siro, it's our home, one of best stadia in the world. If you say you want a new stadium, you probably never went to the S Siro.

lol, Frisko some of us have been at GM but where not that impressed by it yes it's a very big stadium and the atmosphere is Great as long as you sit in Curva Nord... But if you sit anywhere else in the stadium and it's isn't a big game then the atmosphere isn't that great, and another thing the stadium facilities are horrible. but the worst thing about the stadium is the pitch, and the reason for it is the way the stadium is build, which means that the grass don't get enough sun or air.

and just maybe we could minimize the amount of injuries we get in HG if we played in a new stadium with a proper turf.

for me it's not a matter if the stadium is great or not since it's possible with modern knowledge and technology to build a even greater stadium then we have now. I know it sound allot like I'm for a new stadium but the fact is that I haven't really decided yet, and as I see it, it is not a easy thing to do, since our history is bound together with GM.

I voted for this one:

Yes, I dislike the notion of sharing stadium space with AC Milan.

This sais the main reason for my choice. I don't like sharing our home with our rivals. Besides, new stadium would definitely be one of the best in the world... And it will raise the opinions about the stadiums in Italy. And it might bring us better reputation...

The atmosphere won't change in a new stadium, the atmosphere stays in the curva.

I thing we should stay in San Siro. It is a monument that are 99% of Interisti proud of.
