When did Capello had last succesfull spell?

Real Madrid 2006-2007 won La Liga with Capello. It seems long time ago but after Real Madrid, Capello went to take on England and Russia. Some coaches are made for club levels and some are made for national teams. Rarely, we see a coach being successful in both clubs and national teams level. Some I can remember are Vicente Del Bosque and Marcelo Lippi.

That's why I doubt Capello, it's been a decade since he last managed club sucessfully, football has changed a lot during that time.

I highly doubt that Capello... would be worse than Mancini... is a complete utter joke of a coach

Hasn't Capello already rejected us in the past, after all he's coached Juve and Milan, and I remember that his rejection had something to do with that. Maybe I'm wrong.

Not sure whether he rejected us because of that but his name has been bounced around in the past.

I'd love to have Capello here, and 4-4-2 definitely fits his style of play which isn't pretty but it's solid winning football.

When he won Scudetto with Roma I think they Play 3-4-1-2, so he is not that too fanatic about formation. I guess he Will suit formation with The player available.

He rejected us because of his Milan past, and we here on FIF concluded him to be an "old fashioned coach with old methods."

If Cappello is called to join us , I am going to set fire at Milan. Let's be serious two seconds , how can this overrated guy could do for us ? And plus , he si a fu**** Bilanista and Rubentino.

I hope all of this are just rumors. If Mancini had to leave , i would take Bielsa. If you are correct with him , he will be correct too , and with us he will have a good squad to work.

Capello already said he wasn't interested in joining us, and this was just after the Treble, when the Inter bench was hot property.

Going after Capello to be team manager would also be a mistake. No matter what I think of Mancini as a coach, it's not proper to put the shadow of Capello behind him, any coach would feel permanently intimidated by that.

It makes sense that Capello isn't interested in coming back to coaching clubs at the age of 70, so I won't build too many hopes on him.

Eh just when you think that Mancini can't get any luckier. He's still here only because there are no obviously suitable replacements for him. This lucky bastard can walk across a busy highway road with his eyes blindfolded and still doesn't get hit.

Earlier today, when you clicked on coach on inter.it this showed up. He is the coach of Crotone. They removed it by now.

I cant believe that we really sack Mancio! But if we do I would love Pellegrini or Blanc :boogy:

I just feel De Boer would be mistake, but still better than Mancini... maybe :)

Capello is not "overrated", he is "over the hill". There is a difference.
