No. He gets less likely to leave with each passing day. Liverpool haven't come with another bid, and reports are Inter have already priced him above what liverpool paid for Sturridge.

To be honest, Liverpool's bid was the lowest we received this month and we rejected the other two. Its just media hype because Liverpool were involved.

If you are interested, we are thinking of selling Alvarez.

Seriously? Can't believe I'm reading all of this. IN: Rocchi OUT: Sneijder, Coutinho. Just wow.

I don't care if Random-inho arrives. If this happens, someone is gonna die. And it's not me.

Everyone involved with the club and Coutinho himself said he's not leaving, I don't think he is. But if Liverpool cough up a big offer everyone can be sold, hopefully you'd do another Andy Carroll :)

If he goes it'll be for over 12. We already rejected 12 mils offer, no way we will accept 8 or even 10.

Pretty measly figures. If we want another kid from Brazil we'd need to at least double it, but I guess actually giving him some game time is totally out of the questio.

He is honored to be linked to Liverpool but he wants to stay at Inter and he feels the support from the club.
He said they played well against Roma and he wishes the best of luck to Sneijder...

The press saying that Inter will need to make more sacrifices for Paulinho makes me think that the Liverpool rumors aren't as farfetch as one may think. I hope Southampton come in the picture as well and we could sell him for good money.

Liverpool hopeful of signing Philippe Coutinho from Internazionale

• Italian side rejects intial £8m valuation for 20-year-old
• Improved offer from Anfield club should secure Brazilian

Andy Hunter
guardian.co.uk, Tuesday 22 January 2013 20.15 GMT

Liverpool hope to agree the transfer of Philippe Coutinho on Wednesday despite the midfielder's claim that he wants to stay and fight for his place at Internazionale.

The Anfield club had a bid of around £8m rejected for the 20-year-old Brazilian last week but negotiations have continued and Liverpool are confident an improved offer will be acceptable.

Coutinho signed for Inter from Vasco da Gama as a 16-year-old, though he remained with the Brazilian club until he was 18, and is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Serie A. Despite that reputation, Inter are considering the approach from Anfield as they look to improve their finances.

The player has placed responsibility for any transfer firmly on the Italian club by stating that he wishes to impress the coach Andrea Stramaccioni. Coutinho told Sky Italia: "The Liverpool offer? I'm happy with these offers, because it means I am doing my job well. But I think Inter have faith in me and I want to show my value here. I don't feel that I'm on my way out. I hope to stay at Inter. The young players feel the faith of the coach and of the club."

The Liverpool defender Danny Wilson, meanwhile, has admitted he has little future at the club under Brendan Rodgers. The Scotland international has made only nine first team appearances for Liverpool since joining the club for an initial £2m from Rangers in 2010 and is now on loan at Hearts until the summer.

The 21-year-old, who has not made a senior appearance for Rodgers, said: "It's going to be difficult for me to have a future at Liverpool. They have four centre-backs there who are fighting for two positions really. You see players who played in past seasons not playing as much now. I have not really managed to force my way in. My only thinking now is to get out and play and what happens, happens."

Andy Hunter is one of the best sources for information on all things to do with Liverpool.

No one disputes Liverpool is trying to buy Coutinho

What people dispute is that there is no chance we will sell him

I hope you're right but I live in England and there are a few journalists who's information you can count on as reliable - James Pearce (he works for the Liverpool echo)Tony Barrett, Chris Bascombe and Andy Hunter. These guys don't speculate. I don't know what you guys are hearing in Italy but I would bet my house that our club are leaking information to at least one of the above journalist mentioned.

Yes, I'm aware, I live in Liverpool ;)

Similarly, our club are very close to the media in Italy, too. If there was any chance of him leaving, it would be HEAVILY publicised by now.

Sorry mate but the Echo is wrong on this one. As I wrote on RAWK - the only chance of Coutinho leaving is if Alvarez DEFINITELY is not leaving. Even then its a 15-20% chance of him leaving.

No one in Italy is even talking about the COutinho story anymore. The big news for Inter is that our transfer directors are working for signings now, everything else is on the back seat. We generally have Branca working on a single target at a time, multiple negotiations are EXTREMELY rare. This is one of the reasons why we're also somewhat slow to move for players. He's busy making moves on Schelotto and Paulinho at the moment.

As I said Liverpool are clearly leaking Coutinho news to one if not all of the journalists I mentioned. Those guys are respectable journo's and I don't for one second believe they are making things up. I reckon there is more to this Coutinho to Liverpool story and we'll see over the next few days.

The interview Coutinho gave is no different to what you hear other players say and then within days or weeks they leave. I reckon Coutinho said those words as he doesn't want to make himself look stupid if Liverpool and inter fail to agree a fee.

And again, I'll say

No one is disputing that Liverpool are trying to buy him. What people are disputing is that Inter don't want to sell him. He's Moratti's golden boy, he's the young future Inter.

Our club selling policy of late has been to offload high wage players, and replace them with comparable younger players on significantly lower wages - thus offsetting the cost of the transfer fee.

Coutinho does not fit into this bracket at all. The next losses you will see at Inter are Jonathan and Alvarez.

Simple as that. I'm not saying they're making anything up. I have no doubt Liverpool are bidding for him. What I'm doubting is that there is a hope in hell we will sell him.

Hint: Not underlined, they are clickable links

But yes, the Guardian would never make anything up, would they?

I mean its completely unthinkable

Completely impossibly outside the realm of reality

No chance any of this is not true

Definitely never not a single incorrect rumour

Clearly never once have they made up anything even remotely slightly sensationalist

Definitely all true.

Which are all Guardian BOLLOCKS

Kinda close? I guess?

Clearly the Echo is better too

I mean, they've never been wide of the mark

Good thing you didnt sign Quaresma!
