Iam only worried about his small body, he looks like he have the talent to play here obviously and if we focus on him he will also have the right mentality.

Very excited about having another player in the team like Sneijder, pretty different players but both super talented.

Why do I get the feeling that instead of becoming Sneijder's backup, he'll be used as a flank forward, Ronaldinho style. Especially in his first few years, to give him more space and if he turn the ball over, it won't be in a dangerous position.

Him in that position may not work properly though, as there is no overlapping left back that can support him.

Quiet game so far but when ever he touches the ball he looks dangerous.
When will he arrive in Milan?

We might, next year with Kolarov.

That game was SOOOO boring, I fell asleep during the first half. You'd think the brazilian league would be all flair. He did look very dangerous when on the ball. And once under his control he usually made a decent pass. However, he wasn't getting the ball back so he could work his 1-2's (obviously his favorite thing). He found the center forward a lot. However I agree with you, it didn't seem like he wanted the ball. He was always running away and never going into the space like you always see Sniejder doing. I think he just doesn't like receiving the ball with his back to the goal. That being said he was technically superior to everybody else on the field. I think him watching Sniejder and training with Inter can turn him into a very good AM. Also noticed he took a nice freekick with his left foot. And had good work rate, didn't mind pressuring defenders what so ever.

It could turn out to go just like this. And I don't see it as a bad thing. AM position is very delicate one, specially in Italy. Coutinho can learn from the mastah, and adjust to the Italian game on the wing first. He has said himself also that he can play as AM and flanked forward/SS. And in many of those video clips, he's positioned on the left flank.

No, Kaka came to Italia when he was what 21-22? When he was put at first in his AM natural position he played very well. Coutinho must be given his fair shot when he is in his fair natural position.

I don't think he is going to be utilised in that matter because already directors and coaches have been impressed by his talent and ability.

Did you replied to me? Kaka is not comparable to Coutinho and you said it yourself. He was over twenty when he moved. He entered the first team of Sao Paolo at the age of 19 and was an important player for them already in his first season at senior level (scoring 12 goals according to Wiki). He played at Sao Paolo for two seasons (scored 10 goals in the second season).

Coutinho entered to Vasco's first team as 17-year-old and the team played in Serie B. He wasn't a starting player for them first and I don't know did he scored even a one goal?

Coutinho was able to stabilize his starting spot when this season started (2010 season), before he's coming to Inter at the age of 18. Kaka had two seasons as a protagonist of his team, before he made the move at the age of 21.

The difference in experience of these two players is simply huge, and we can't expect Coutinho to be like Kaká, nowhere near. Kaká was almost a completed product when he came to Italy, Coutinho is nowhere near.

Great words, Cafe, completely agree.

Coutinho is raw, but he certainly has the talent and ingredients.

After seeing Stevanovic yesterday, i'm starting to have second thoughts about Coutinho. Stev's talent must not be wasted, and i fear Coutinho will lose any space Stev would get next year.
