We didn't sell Cou to get Kova. We sold Cou because he din't got enough chances at Inter and WANTED to leave. It has NOTHING to do with Kova. Kvacic wasn't even his direct replacement as we saw winger/AM in Cou, while DLP/CM in Kova. Totally different.

IMO, Kova does better than Cou at Inter, but neither do good enough. Cou was shit and Kova is mediocre. And both are extremely talented. What does that say to you? It's not all up to the talent and quality, but system and mentality. There is simply no way a young player will play on high level at Inter and Serie A. No way. There is a reason why 80% of the players were better before joining Inter and are better after leaving Inter.

Icardi would have been coming to the ball and they would have looked at each other like they were confused. NONE of our players are on the same wave length it seems. Hard to think of another club out there right now who lacks team play as much as this Inter.

This is Kova's second year at a big club, and Coutinho's fifth one, if I am counting correctly. It's roughly something like that. Not fair as of yet to compare these two. Coutinho also went on loan where he actually played.

OK, let's be realistic here.

He is doing great consistently at Pool. Of course he has had his downs and mistakes, but still doing great for his age. Don't take that away from him.

However, he did pretty bad for us. Of course, he had shittier coaches, shittier system, was much younger with zero experience. But again - did nothing and was pretty much shit.

Anyway, he clearly had the talent and showed glimpses of it. That's why most of us wanted him at Inter, not sold. But he wanted to leave, we sold him, done deal. No need to cry over it. It happened, it has happened lots of times before an WILL happen again. Let's hope those young players we HAVE at the club do well and improve a lot. What's in the past - is in the past.

Pajo is going to kill me but I am going to say I would sell cou if it is for kova (which it was not directly a replacement but helped us afford him) 100/100 times. Do you think in serie a there would be that much space behind any team? no chance.... kova has occasionally showed he can play balls behind the defense I dont think cou every showed that in serie a.
