Nikola Vlasic, i feel like he's destined to do great and become one of the best MF in future. He was unlucky in Everton but now he's starting to show his skill in CSKA. If i could compare him with someone he would be a mix between SMS and Kovacic, he's got that nice Kovacic acceleration and can assist and find target in front of the goal, but he's much stronger just like SMS and is more dangerous in front of a goal, he can easily score from 20 meters.

I think we should sign Łukasz Skorupski next year as our main goalkeeper.
Every highlight i watch with Bologna, he has some incredible saves.
And at 27 years, his best years as GK are still to come.

Well, maybe it's just a function of how much shots his team concedes.

Say, Bologna lets an average of 10 shots a game. You're bound to have a couple of class saves per game, at least. The save percentage here is the important stat.

Skorupski is a very talenteed GK but since his Empoli days where he first showed his potential, no one gave him a chance. Roma should have kept him, but maybe the fact that they didn't shows that he's not up to the standard. Or that they're just mad. I always rated him, can't believe he's 27 already.

If Piatek keeps on scoring as he does right now, I would love to see him at Inter. Since we have a good rapport with Genoa, there is a good chance of him joining Inter and becoming another “Il Principe”.
According to Guardian, Piatek’s favourite team to play on Fifa was the treble-winning Inter side in which Pandev played a supporting role to Diego Milito and Samuel Eto’o.

exactly what i was thinking.
i think roma made a mistake selling him and bringing in olsen.
i would definitely like him to play for a big team. maybe Inter.

Is Modric staying in Madrid? No problem for Inter: an algorithm reveals who to replace him with
The Nerazzurri have not arrived to Luka Modric, but in Spain there is another midfielder who could do for the Nerazzurri

fcinter 1908

Inter have long chased Luka Modric, a dream that however remained so, because in the end the Croatian midfielder did not move from Madrid and Luciano Spalletti had to do without a reinforcement in the median, where Brozovic is increasingly decisive . A gap in the midfield that the company of Corso Vittorio Emanuele will have to fill; but is there a player around the world who could guarantee Inter the performance that would have guaranteed Modric or in any case bring him closer? According to TCT-Scout yes.

This is the conclusion that the analysis tool presented at the third edition of the World Football Summit congress held in Madrid, where they revealed the midfielder who would have done to Inter's case: the name jumped out is that of Sergio Canales, footballer class' 91 owned by Betis Sevilla, which according to TCT-Scout "would have had a great impact on future team statistics".

About Skorupski: Recently someone from Empoli praised him for skills but complained about his mentality of blaming teammates and never taking the blame himself. Purely skill-wise he might be good but you also want a goalkeeper-leader I guess who can cooperate with defenders. I would avoid him.

I hate people that never take the blame, even if it's 100% their fault. Not just football-wise.

On another note, i would love if we had a proper DM in our team.
Are there any good DM's these days? Or nobody uses them anymore?

Kante? Ironically, Chelsea has arguably the best DM in the world and Sarri is using him as a box-to-box CM :D He's not playing his best as CM and maybe we can convince Chelsea to sell if we have the budget.
Ruben Neves is a gem but he would be very expensive.
Matic is still a beast, although a little old, would be a good DM for us for at least 2 years. He can be offloaded by Man Utd when they get a new coach.

We've been linked with Lyon's Lucas Tousart for a while, I'm not sure he is a pure DM though.

Pablo Sarabia seems to be really on form. He's able to play both AM and RW. I've liked him almost every time I've watched him play. What do you think of him?

Meanwhile Piątek keeps on scoring...

Cracovia Coach Michał Probierz is “not surprised” by Krzysztof Piatek’s sensational start in Serie A, but concedes “Genoa did a great deal”.

The Polish striker signed for the Grifone this summer for only €4.5m, and has already scored 14 goals in eight games.

“I’m not surprised, Krzysztof is a top striker,” Probierz insisted, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.

“He has goals in his blood and a fantastic positional sense. Genoa did a great deal, with a really quick operation.

“Piatek has done well to adapt to Italian football quickly, and now he’s worth a lot more than a couple of months ago.

“We received a lot of offers for Piatek from clubs across Europe, but it was crucial for him to choose the right team to develop at.

“We were all happy with the agreement with Genoa, and time is proving that we found the ideal solution for ourselves, the player and obviously for the Rossoblu too.

“Piatek can go really far, Genoa is the right place for him to improve and fulfil his potential. Krzysztof has the same characteristics as [Robert] Lewandowski, but he’s a good seven years younger.

“I’m certain that, if he keeps being professional and avoids any serious injuries, he’ll become one of the best strikers in Europe.

“I’m surprised that the big clubs, with all the scouting they do, missed such a big talent in Poland.

“With all due respect for Genoa, the football elite must regret not having taken a shot on Piatek.”

CdS: It will surely be an auction for Piatek where Italian clubs will have to deal with Bayern Munich and English clubs. Now he costs €40m.

Krzysztof Piątek is like Ronaldo 10 years ago in Las Vegas: UNSTOPPABLE!

:yao2:

Again, Piatek is not necessary unless we switch to a 4-4-2. I only see that happening if Simeone comes in a couple of years, by which point Piatek will definitely have fucked off. I could see Roma bidding big for him, they'll need a replacement for Dzeko soon.

Due to my nationality you can probably guess that I would like him at Inter but turh be told - with Icardi there is absolutely no argument to bring him. Even if Simeone comes, as YoramG suggested, Piatek would not fit. He shows preference for playing one typical number 9 and then one that can also play and move with the ball - Griezzman and Villa both fit this picture. Piatek is as typical number 9 as it gets. Unless we sell Icardi I see absolutely no way to accomodate him. When it comes to Simeone, think Martinez rather than Piatek.
