Depay looks too selfish at least to me. I dont think he will fit here.

Depay or Draxler on the LW :fap:

He isn't a winger. He was poor when he played as LW for Manutd and also Lyon. He started playing well only when he started playing as striker or SS.

I wouldn’t run away from Modric, looks like he’s finished but he can bring winning mentality and we could squeeze 2 good years out of him.

Pros

- Looking Gagliardini and Vecino on CM position is health threatening
- he have huge influence on Croats, his coming would gave a huge moral boost to Croat trio
- his iconic status would help us to lure biggest talents from Dinamo easier
- he’s still world class midfielder

Cons

- looks like he doesn’t have many years in front of him

Kinda reminds on time when Juve took Pirlo, maybe we can pull something similar.

Don't care about Depay's tweet, as gaudy as it is, but his attitude would worry me.

Well I get a flashback to what people wrote about Vidic just before he arrived here.

Reminds me a bit of Cancelo. Although Cancelo had a better final ball

It seems that we`re very calm about the Icardi situation, not being held ransom by fuckin` Wanda.

1. If we`re thinking of Icardi signing a replacement, I would strongly suggest the obvious Krzysztof Piątek

Eagle`s Eyes for goals [13 goals in 18 Serie A matches so far], excellent finishing, Serie A proven, doesn`t seem toxic, reminds me of Milito.

2. If we are looking at Perisic replacement, we should seriously consider Dortmund`s #7 Jadon Sancho

His stats are insane: 17 matches, 6 goals and 8 assists! The fact that this guy is 18 years old but makes it even more interesting. Dortmund snatched this Trinidad and Tobago citizen from Man City`s U18 for peanuts and I wonder how much they will going to earn on his transfer. Got UK passport so he`s still considered as EU.

I would much rather sign this guy than buy out Keita, look at his dribbling skills - it`s not only kick & run. I can imagine his price will rocket sky high and EPL clubs will battle for him, so buying him early would be recommended. Already called up for the Senior NT bypassing the U21 squad.

Some people say he`s more talented than Mbappe. He has so much more to his game than speed and power. This means later in his career, fitness permitting, he would still be very dangerous even if he loses bit of speed and power.

Look at him just stroll past people with the ball, but the most impressive thing is his composure to just delay the pass/cross whilst his team-mates get into a position to score. Timings are perfect.

Impressive IQ and unselfishness. This is the type of player I would buy for INTER. Expensive? Yes, but that`s what quality costs. Stop wasting money on Joaos Candrevas and Barbosas, spend it on the real deals.

Conclusion: should Icardi not sign new contract removing his release clause, let him go to Real or whatever and use that money to buy the above 2.

Jadon Sancho reminds me of a football version of Raheem Sterling. I'd still pass on him. His offensive strenghts are not that great to ignore that he's a defensive hole and his game doesn't translate well in Italy. Doesn't seem that much different or better than Justin Kluivert to be honest and he's already found his Serie A ceiling by being a role player at a club like Roma. Would sure be nice to have such an option on the bench if we had 16 strong players, but that's not the case for us now.

I'd sign Piatek to play next to Icardi, though.

Sancho will be big, but we have no chance signing him now.

Duvan Zapata....if we sell Icardi. I don't know is it one season wonder or not but he's been quite impressive lately. I had some doubts but the real test was Jube's game and he passed it.

Duvan Zapata to replace Icardi is yet another suicidal attempt... Duvan Zapata would be an ideal Inter player if his role was as a 3rd striker in a 2 striker formation. There is no sign of improvement in his games since his Udinese games, just a change of scenery at Atalanta who have a more fluid attack than the relegation battling Udinese and it's still pretty much the same player he was at Sampdoria but with more chances.
Great run of form for sure, but don't spend too much time in awe of fireworks, it doesn't help :)

That would regress the club even faster than going from Ronaldo to Julio Cruz in the space of 2 summers

Duvan Zapata has been doing the same thing for 4 seasons now. How can he be considered a one season wonder? This is the guy's peak. I'd love to have him if we were using 2 strikers but we're not.
Replacing Icardi with Zapata is like asking to go back to 9th place.

I even hear SMS be labelled as one when he was great for 2 years in a row and just didn't start well in his 3rd. Do people even understand the concept of 'one season wonder'? It doesn't seem very hard.

Duvan is 27 and hasn’t ever scored more then 11 goals in 1 season. He been injured this season. He scored 9 in December but 1 the rest of the season.

Him and Muriel are over rated and streaky strikers. Def not good enough for Inter

I do agree that this season might be his peak but he has improved a lot since his Napoli's days. Back then he was just a big guy with literally no others skills but now he is much better.
He learnt how to use his body in many ways - when has to win first ball, when play one vs one and when should keep possession and distribute the ball. He is not letal as Icardi and never will be but if Spalletti wants to continue with our recent tactics, using more mobile striker, Duvan is a good choice. I'm saying this in case that Icardi leaves and Atalanta don't want more than 30-35m for him. Saying that I'm against an expensive replacement who might flop badly a la Morata

Morata was never a prolific scorer so spending 60 or 70 million on him and expecting to have 20+ goals per season was stupid to begin with.

Let's face it, Icardi is irreplaceable.

If he doesn’t want to leave. Tho saying no to Real or Barca would be real difficult. I mean we can get him to potentially stay 1-2 more seasons with another pay bump but we can never offer him the wages those clubs can.

As long as we are in champions league he will stay. Now that he has a shot on the Argie NT that is his way of staying on the radar

Should we go back in for Dembele? Spurs seem like they want to offload him in Jan.

Don't need another injury prone player.
