Go here and just press play. It´s "quite" small picture tho.

In this crappy Moldova match Materazzi was again "great" as usual. I can´t believe how come he´s still at NT? I have no damn idea.

Yet i haven´t liked what i´ve seen under Lippi. Same old same old Italia. How the hell Miccoli didnt play? He wont get a lot of playing time this year either. That´s sad because he´s much better than DP is/has been. Hopefully EVERYTHING will change when Cannavaro, Cassano, Totti, Vieri etc. comes back to full fitness.

First of all i would like to apologize for not being here and adding the (scores inside)on the thread because i was travelling in the past few days from Boston back to Bahrain...Thankfully that is done now :star:

I watched the second half of the Italy game and i have to say they looked awefull...It doesnt look like has much has changed(understandable that many stars werent there) But i hope Lippi turns it around despite but that may not be the case since i saw DP who was awefull in every recent match i saw him for Italy was captaining the side..
I thought there was a story a week or two back that he is not in the NT unless he returns to form

And Tommi, DP is getting his form back as usually before the season starts, I've understood that he was Italy's best player in that game?! Anyway, everything is fine with DP until he gets injured again... :wallbang:

I think that it would be too big a risk for Lippi to play Esposito of Cagliari tomorrow, but it would be nice...

I heard that Eriksson is gonna play a three man attack which I think is just a cop out coz he doesn’t have the guts to drop Owen. Still it might actually work out quite well and it will be interesting to see how it goes. I am hoping for a good game, especially with the whole Welsh-English rivalry.

It will be a good game but Defoe-Rooney-Owen is nothing compared to Recoba-Adriano-Martins! :D

Well I have now seen Vincent Kompany twice in the last couple of weeks for both club and country and I have been very impressed...

Against Inter his achievments have already been well documented but tonight he played for his country against Spain - and IMO he showed maturity beyond his years! In a game where his teammates Deflandre and Gool(c) got sent off,Vincent started of in central defense but after Deflandre left he had to change to right back.He did this very adequately against the likes of Jose Antonio Reyes and Luque. When his country let in both goals he was not at fault as for the first goal he was covering a run and for the second one he was marking another player. All in all he hugely impressed me and I would give him an 8/10 even though he finished on the losing side!

Fabio ;)

Although I live in England and have all my life - I am afraid that I will never support them. This is because of the fans, I find them far too cocky and just can't take them. It's a shame too.I also have to much pride for my own nationalities!

For me it's very different Fabio. I always disliked the Italian national team, I hate the way they play and I always end up cheering for the opposition.

On the other hand, I like the English NT a lot.

The fans in Italy don't care about the NT a lot. Here in England they love them, they support them with all their hearts.

Anyway, England is my home now, I'll soon be an English citizen, and I'll be proud of it.

Sadly, I don't find myself all that dissapointed after Italia's lost. I've come to accept that we just aren't one of the strongest national teams in the world anymore. :depress:

Patrick I know we are not one of the best teams these days... :(

But Francesco, have you got an Italian passport - soon to be English? Don't you feel an ounce of betrayal?

Theres something wrong with that Italian team, maybe cause its mostly Juve players playing alongside Milan players lol. Italy and Spain have the biggest club rivalry, doesnt it show in their game?
