Blame those bottles of Champagne that Moratti drank after the Cl for Rafa's appointment. Glad the fat Slob is no more with us.

Benitez was underwhelming at Inter but he did have a bit of injuries.

I know you lot are going to throw in that Leonardo has the same squad as Fat Rafa did but Leonardo has had pretty much a full squad who are back in health now after the world-cup.

I still think he is a better manager than Leonardo BUT Benitez isn't a Inter Milan type manager.

THIS. Something didn't click for Mr. Benitez here.

Let we all move on now, shall we?

We did Natasha but some crazy-arse fanboys can't move on cause their god 'Benitez the fat' did no ill will to us and we are talking nonsense about his supreme fatness

Liverpool was a great club, the fat waiter turned it into a small club that is struggling for a Europa Cup spot. If they get that, it will be considered an acheivement. The biggest acheivement this piece of crap has acheived is making everyone believe that he is a saint and has never done anything wrong, its always somebody else.

And why is he complaining? He himself asked to get out of the club, he is getting paid to sit at home, if he was a man of that many morals and principles he wouldnt have taken a single penny.

I feel sad for the club who will sign him now, because the only thing that will look good is the CV, everything after that will be just blah. Unless offcourse if its Jube. I'm not a prayer-person, but I have started praying.

Dont think so Vito, atleast he had no money problems before the Americans took over, its just that he messed a lot of it up, then the Americans came in and didnt let him......

I dont really care, its difficult to hate someone for me, but the fact that he cant just come out and say, "It was a bad decision by both the sides, things didnt click at Inter" rather than all the bullcrap about the company that he got money from(to not work for them I must say). Its obvious he wants to harm us, he isnt satisfied.

Even when rafa had a full squad he struggled to achieve the results leo has. Facts are except for eto'o rafa was unable to get the most out of his players, you just have to listen to the players interviews post rafa. Pretty much 90% don't care or like him, that is a recipe for disaster.

Rafa is probably tactically better then leo but he is not close in terms of man management. Leo is able to get more out of his players. That's one of the major reasons why he failed.

Rafa is merely trying to shift blame. There was nothing wrong with those medical guys under mou. If they were bad mou would have complained about them...

Don't think so? Last league title was 1989-90, last Champions League before Rafa was 1984. Who cares about the money if you are not winning shit if you have it??

Even though I explained my post in the 2nd part... :p. Liverpool is a small club.

Anyways, I'd just ask you to read the 2nd part of the post again. Liverpool is a small club. Also didnt they win a bunch of trophies under Houllier, like 5-6 within a year or something, like small trophies not the big ones that big clubs win. Liverpool is a small club.

Under Houllier:

UEFA Cup: 2001
UEFA Super Cup: 2001
FA Cup: 2001
Football League Cup: 2001, 2003
FA Community Shield: 2001

Under Rafa:

UEFA Champions League: 2005
FA Cup: 2006
FA Community Shield: 2006
UEFA Super Cup: 2005

Like I said, they weren't doing much before Rafa got there...

This reminds me a little of Ranieri/Juve situation. I saw how almost everybody was happy he's leaving, cause they thought he was the reason they were so shit. They didn't have such a smiled faces next season though.

Just out of the logic guys. Check what Benitez won in his carear. I mean, winning LaLiga(twice), CL(plus another final), UEFA Cup, that doesn't happen to some random people.

I mean forget it's Benitez. If you had coach (anonymous) who won all this stuff, and somebody asked you based on those achievements, is he crap/good/average/best, you would probably say, he must be at least a good coach if he won all that.

If anybody has an opinion about him, based on those 6 months with us, then he is simply biased in my eyes.

I personaly, wouldn't be suprised if we heard about the guy again in the future.

First of all i must say i enjoy reading your posts but when i wrote "he's already managed a bigger club"
its hardly disrespect to Inter.
Liverpool have won big ears 5 times and 18 league's along with numerous other trophy's .We have a bigger fanbase bigger sponsorship deals and a higher UEFA ranking than Inter. It could be argued Inter isnt the biggest club in Milan let alone Italy.
Real Madrid is even bigger and as you know the prodical son usually goes home eventually .
But your words of wisdom are a welcome change to a thread which generally lacks a "devils advocate". Usually called a "fanboy" in here. which btw means something different in Ingurland.

They'd probably ask is he fat? ¦)

I appriciate the complement.

Without going into the details, cause it's a very broad topic, the numbers is not everything. Some would say... history is history, where is Liverpool and Inter today?

Some could say, what Liverpool did in past 5 years, and what Inter won?

Some could say "wait 3 more years, and we'll see who is where in UEFA ranking". And so on and so on.

So, lets not get into a big argument, lets just say Benitez coached 2 of the biggest clubs in the world, and lets just leave it at that.

Hmm interesting comments. I don't really have a hatred for Rafa. He wasn't the right manager for Inter but sometimes that's how it goes. Managers succeed at some clubs and fail at others... unless their name is Jose Mourinho ;) Even then, he's not perfect either as he's had his struggles.

Wonder what club Rafa will end up with? Back to Spain or England?

Lol ...

If ur askign me , Rafa won his CL with Lpool with Hulier's team, tactics and players +TONS of LUCK in the Final where the team played as a bunch of lions and came back against that FEARSOME Bilan from 0 to 3-3 ... + had even BIGGER luck in the end of the games/Overtimes ....

Seriously , I do understand that you're a rafa Fanboy but this is about Inter and we(atleast me) as Inter Fans consider it as an INSULT from someone to perseude (spelling ?) us that Rafa was/is a GOOD coach and that MM and Branca + some of the players are to BLAME ...

ENOUGH of it already !

The issue with these achievements is that the last big trophy he won is 6 years ago. He has regressed a lot between his valencia/early lfc days and now. Great managers continue to win big trophies, rafa is a good manager but he is not great. Inter requires great...

You're right about timeframe, but I wouldn't cross already the guy. There were coaches who kinda "resurfaced" after several years. Best example was Van Gaal.

In my personal opinion, either it was bad luck, or it just wasn't meant to be, Benitez is much better coach/manager than he "showed" in 6 months with Inter.

Second issue is... whether we say is he good manager now, or overall? Now... it would be easier to convince he ain't good now, but overally I would say he deserves some respect.

"rafa is a good manager but he is not great. Inter requires great..."

Well, as you saw, I wasn't arguing against not calling him great, but against rating him solely on the base of his 6 months with Inter, and calling him crap.

ps. Obviously Inter deserves best. Who said otherwise ? -_-
