Real Sociedad - Inter

This Wednesday, September 20th, in the first CL group match of the season, we travel to San Sebastian to play on this beautiful stadium.

You might think this will be an easy game for us, since Real Sociedad is currently 11th in LaLiga (1 win, 3 draws, 1 loss), but they just played against Real Madrid and made them sweat for that win.

Their best two players are the tricky right winger Kubo and AC Milan legend Andre Silva, and luckily, Andre Silva is injured right now (he's been ballin'). Notable players in the squad are also Tierney, Hamari Traore, Zubimendi and Oyarzabal. Dimarco, Bastoni and Mkhitaryan will have a lot of work to do.

Their squad is considerably younger than ours, so expect them to buzzing up and down like bees on cocaine. It's going to be a tricky game, but I'm sure we'll try to get a 0-1 win here to start the CL season in style.

Like Luvumbo.

I dont know much about Pulisic. But Kubo is a smart player, good anticipation and dribbling. Especially anticipation.
well. Pulisic has a good dribbling too and he puts himself in scoring situations too. But we did not struggle against him in the Derby.

Generally, we struggle more vs good teams e.g. Monza and struggle less vs trash teams e.g. Milan. I don't think we have a particular weakness vs a certain playstyle now. It's all about the quality, Real Sociedad is an unknown quality and we must be careful.

Kubo is a very good player.
Fast and very technically good. ..he is capable of creating so many chances for the team. Bastoni and DiMarco on the challenge.

I think we are struggling against Spanish teams in general.
Real S seems to play more open football, so on paper, they should be convenient opponent for us, but let's see.
I believe that we'll have enough chances, but if we are wasteful, we may lose.

I recommend watching Japan's NT, they never had such a good team before. Mitoma, Kubo, Kamada, Tomiyasu, Endo, Tanaka, Asano,..

Kubo is good but normally he will fade away from 60’, his stamina has limit. Mendez and Zubimendi are the ones we need to press hard on, they are good at escaping trap and pull opponents over to create space for Kubo.
