having Brozovic, Banega, and Soriano in our roster is great. obviously it's a nice depth in our midfield there. i personally wont sacrifice Brozo to get Soriano.

if we plan to keep Icardi, probably our sources of funding to sign Soriano or other players comes from selling Ranocchia, Juan, Biabiany, Santon, and Nagatomo. hopefully Aussilio could make good deal out of it.

In my opinion we shouldn't just focus on the starting eleven, but for example Juan Jesus and Biabiany should never be sold. Those two guys are brilliant bench players, maybe they even can get in the starting lineup. We need those guys. The money we get from selling these two is way too low and a substitution with their abilities is way too expensive.

Exactly. Specially considering we'll probably make it to at least EL next year.

we are looking at the wrong Samp player imo. I would rather go for Fernando, he can be the regista that we need, its just I don't want medel and Melo anywhere near our starting lineup.

I like Fernando (i've mentioned him on several occasions), but he isn't a regista. He's a DM who passes decently with good technique. Plus, we're signing Banega to be our regista.

Not convinced Fernando is enough quality to make us a better team. He certainly has potential to be better than Medel (if he's not already) but I want more. Think we should go for Casemiro if we want another DM.

I'm curious how our midfield is going to look next season. If we sign Banega and Soriano, could we possibly see Kondogbia - Banega - Soriano? With Brozovic maybe sold to Arsenal.

I haven't watched Soriano but this line up seems too vulnerable to me. Banega doesn't defend well and if Soriano is a same kind of player in terms of defense, we'll have many troubles with only Kdog as DM.
I don't know how is situation Taider with? If we are able to bring him back in the summer maybe we can use 4-2-3-1 with Taider and Kdog a front of defense and Banega/ Soriano as AM. In this case we'll need a skilled left winger as well.

I think Medel is almost guaranteed starter probably K-Dog is also likely to start most games as he's more defensive than the other two, and with the other two swapping around Banega or Soriano depending on the game. It would make us versatile, creative and defensively sound at the same time. Destroyer+B2B+DLP/whatever Soriano is some say Treq but I'm not sure exactly I think he's more like Hernanes in style of play.

To me if Medel is a guaranteed starter Inter haven't improved the midfield.

Agreed I would like a much better player for that position, but I highly doubt we plan to replace him, but I think with the addition of the other two we will be better than we currently are. I hope at least.

Sacrificing Brozo for soriano is counter productive no upgrade. Similar to kondo for kiva.

Actually I don't think the choice is between Brozovic and Soriano, financially speaking. I think the choice we will be faced this summer will be whether to keep Ljajic or return him back to Roma and buy Soriano instead.

Its a tough one, would love to hear who you guys would prefer - Ljajic or Soriano?

If we can somehow not lose any money on Jovetic, couldn't we have both?

We need midfielders, Soriano isn't coming to replace Brozovic but to replace Guarin..

Sacrificing Ljajic for Soriano would be retarded. We lack creativity upfront and Ljajic is the only player who can bring it in this team. In today's market I don't see a player for less than 25m who I will be comfortable replacing Ljajic with.

Not to mention I don't rate Soriano that highly, I've seen the dude play and he's average at everything. Maybe above average in ball distribution and defensively but that's it. He's a poor man's Allan and definitely not starting material in a team aiming to compete with Rube, Napoli and at a lesser degree Roma. We should save that money and go for a really good DM (even if expensive) if we want a jump in quality.

The Genova based paper Secolo XIX says that Soriano is Inter bound in the summer, they are pretty convinced too.
