i saw roma's players and formation in indonesian newspaper. They are certainly consist of players with high quality.... I say we are just slightly better than them....

so it will be very dificult game, we got the advantage that they have new coach that need to adapt to the game..

it will be a very tough game, but we could win it...
I suspect roma will play with attacking formation and we dont have dificulties with that, our DM will have to work his ass off..

Helal i thought Stan suffered abit on the LW and thought it might be tiredness but he played much better 2 or 3 days later on the right...So there u go....

Our main problem will be our LB position since we know it is a strength to them...The choices are Favalli,Pasquale,Cordoba,JZ on left.

I would stick with Favalli and give him specific instructions and not allow him to get offensive in this game.I would like Cordoba and JZ to be in their respective positions in such a big game,it is too much to gamble in this one.

If Stan is to play on the left although (i would rather Emre) He has to have instructions about Mancini...Davids (or Cambiasso)has to control Totti also...

Mancio rested VDM in the midweak's match in order to keep him fresh for Roma trip. That's why I think VDM will start tomorrow.
Cambiaso was GREAT against Anderlecht and if he perform like what he did in the midweak then why Davids? Of course Roma's attack and mid. are much better than Anderlecht's. That's why Mancio may decide to start Davuds who has more experience.
Matrix was rested and Burdisso did a good job so it's now Mancio's job to choose between them. Also Cordoba needs a rest but he did better gainst Anderlecht than the previous matches. I think Burdisso isn't ready to face the atmosphere of Olympic stadium.
Ze-m is at his best form, Favali is doing weekly and when J.Z replaced him, J.Z did well. Favali has a slight injury now, so why not J.Z. He can play in any posts so let's see whether we can solve our problem in LB or not.
After all I think that it'll be Coco's turn. Mancio has suprised everyone with his UPS so far this season and Inter has become an unpredictable team, Although that Coco isn't match fit but I think that he is a good option too.
Surely Toldo, Veron, Stankovic, VDM, Adriano and Martins will be our starters and the rest will be among Burdisso, Matrix, Cordoba, J.Z, Ze-M, Favali, Davids and Cambiaso. I can't wait to see who are the rest.
Anyway I have a great feeling about this match although that we should be VERY, VERY careful.
I predict this match 1-3 for Inter.

So you'd basically gift Van der Meyde a spot on the bench for arguably being one of our best players since he's started? I don't like this option at all. Cambiasso or Davids, one of them has to be on the bench. We should be the attacking side on this game and I expect that we'll be able to score a couple goals on that weak Roman defense. If they even try to run that catenaccio they had vs Real Madrid we're gonna have some fun.

I agree VDM has to start and impress as well since he got some good rest...We have to give them trouble at all times and force them to defend consistently so they dont think of attacking.

Roma will most likely play a 4-2-3-1 formation where the trio Totti-Montella-Cassano will all play at the same time. That sure makes it more difficult for our crappy defence.

They might also drop Candela and use the better defensive player Cufré as a left back instead.

Cambiasso and Davids should both start. Ive been saying this for ages now. Talk about Matrix sitting on the bench is pure bollox, Il Capitano must play, Recoba should play too and dont change Toldo now because this is a big game, but after the game he should leave to Hawaii or India to get some biiig rest. (Dont wanna see u Toldo).

I have to disagree with you here Sherif. Roma doesn't have any striker who can possess a great aerial threat and thus I believe it is better to use Burdisso instead of Matrix. Montella, Cassano and Totti are tricky and quite pacey players. Matrix may struggle against them.

I am pleased to see Vieri out of this game. Not that I have anything I have against him but it would be completely ridiculous to bench a such in-form Martins for a such off-form Vieri, because of the importance of this match. Speaking of Martins, I believe he should get the start ahead of Recoba. I know that Chino has a good history against Roma but I believe form counts more than history and Martins has scored 3 goals in his last 2 games, superb considering he only played 1/2 hour for one of those games!
