Yeah, as if Icardi was a joy to watch in his goalless runs through each season... Not to mention his contribution for the team that consisted only in scoring and yelling at anybody who hasn't passed him the ball.

He was a very sweet player to have, speaking about his personality too.

You still keep trying to downgrade Lukaku's talents by expressing your bitterness in every post. We got it already.. but i don't have any complaints about Lukaku just yet, even when he is not playing at his best. He is overall a better player than Icardi for me.

You could say the same about Caicedo but without him Lazio would be 8th in the serie a table. You will never have a perfect player, so we need be satisfied with making the most out of all of our players.

Lukaku does that too. Probably even more and without much reason to do so in many cases, exactly because his awareness is not that great.

He is very good when he can get the ball and run on the counter but other than that he gets way overrated here for his "build up" and "link play" only because he has been scoring too.
When he doesn't score everyone is complaining about him in here and you can see for yourself that I'm usually not a big part of those complaints. That he is lazy and never closes the defense or GK down, that he always demands the ball and points his hands, that he loses duels with the air and a lot more.

His scoring record is impressive. But whether it is sustainable it remains to be seen. We create too many chances compared to the last 5 seasons so it is expected that our strikers should have lots of goals amongst them.
