So now French League has better defences than Serie A.
My point was it seems to me that there a trend in serie a this season for all serie a teams to score more goals at the expense of defense. But I'd still take Lukaku instead of Icardi because Icardi's problem isn't something than can be fixed.

Despite all his flaws Lukaku's doing good job so far. Unlike Icardi Romelu is unpredictable and can amaze you from time to time.

Past the halfway point now, I think the question of whether his record is sustainable or not, has been answered.

One of the cristicisms was that he was converting but missing alot of chances as well. I agree with that. Since early december, however, we've created less chances, but lukaku is still converting. I think it also has to do with his improved fitness and understanding of his game. As long as he remains the focus of our attack, he will be putting up very good goal numbers.

I see alot of improvement from Lukaku since he arrived at Inter, it shows you how much a coach can do by having full trust in his players.

I'm falling in love with this guy. I mean, he's obviously not the most skilled player in the squad. Sometimes he's so frustrating, like WTF are you doing man.

But appart from his qualities as a player, I'm falling for him for his amazing mentality. When I read his interviews, listen to him talk, watch him always being positive and try to motivate everybody, always fighting and never surrendering, he's a fucking leader and seems to me day after day a gem of a person. So nice, so modest.

I'm fond of players who generates those kind of feelings. In an era when egotics players are the stars and the models, I'm glad to have Lukaku as leader for my team.

No one expected him to score this much and he's in freakin great shape this season.

I think what's a little frustrating is he doesnt track back but I think it's on Conte's orders it seems he wants two guys up front at all times.

:chan:
These stupid United fans acting like a whiny clingy ex-girlfriend...so salty about a player who already left their shit club and is doing better at another one ugh bunch of entitled hoes.

Man, United and AC Milan are in the exact same situation, except one has money. Either go their forums to laugh or don't bother at all, there's not much to be gleaned from 90% of their fanbases.

(No offence Monster, if you're around :D)

It's a huge forum, just a match day thread will have 2000-3000 posts and that's excluding post match thread which is again 1000+ posts.

Most of the argument in that thread is whether it was right idea to sell, few think we shouldn't have sold him, few think it was right decision to sell him but wrong decision not to sign replacement.

It's like Icardi thread, whenever he scores that thread gets bumped but here it's done by 1 or 2 guys, there you have 40-50 people doing that.

Yeah, kind of makes sense.

To me it was a right decision for United to sell specially as they made such a nice profit out of it (his book value last summer was 50m€ for United). Mistake was to not replace him though that wouldn't have probably change much for United as their problems are much deeper. Muuuuch deeper, like all the way up to the ownership level. And sorry for OT.

It is fun how inexcusable other club's fans dumb opinions are, yet we forgive our own or fail to notice it entirely.

Now, with that being said, some of those guys are freakin ridiculous. I just assumed with their season and Lukaku's blatant brilliance those posters would simply avoid the thread and pretend it's not there. That's what I do when I see news of Zaniolo for example.

Disliked his attitude tonight. Yelling at your teamates and pressing the opponents 50% of the time isn't really productive.

Was useless in the last push.
