His penalty taking skill is impressive af, last time he missed a penalty was back in 2017. He almost always sends the keeper in another direction.

It helps when you are allowed to manipulate your run and wait for the GK to make a move. It used not be allowed, now they're far too flexible with attackers doing it. Look at Neymar, Jorginho and Bruno Fernandes as well. Not that many just take their PKs now without making a blatant stop in pace to see the GK's feet. Lautaro for example does not do that

He needs to do better, he really needs to learn new movements and how to beat his defender when we are playing against a team that parks the bus. We can't afford to have him disappear against Bremer, Lyanco, Caldirola or that Shakhtar kid that looks 14. Most teams in Serie A are going to park the bus against us, he needs to learn how to exist against such opponents.
