Would you buy Lukaku this summer?

He's never missed a penalty for us.

He was absolutely dreadful today, but you have to appreciate his record from the spot. Especially when are alternatives are Sanchez, one of the worst penalty takers in Europe, and Martinez, who has composure issues.

He was really bad today but somehow was involved in the penalty situation and his finish was great again.

Don't forget his clearance in the first half. It was clumsy but effective.

He's been playing almost every game for 2 seasons straight. He had a bit rest last spring when we weren't playing, but after it has been 4 games per 3 weeks more often than not, if not more. He's a killer, but we need vice Lukaku stat!

It's true we do, but we are playing once a week. He needs to do better than he did today. Maybe it was not having conte screaming at him. We also need a player similar to Rom to put pressure on him

Can somebody explain how he sends GK on wrong direction almost every single time he takes PK? It is as if he uses voodoo shit to control GK's reaction.

It helps when you are allowed to manipulate your run and wait for the GK to make a move. It used not be allowed, now they're far too flexible with attackers doing it. Look at Neymar, Jorginho and Bruno Fernandes as well. Not that many just take their PKs now without making a blatant stop in pace to see the GK's feet. Lautaro for example does not do that :D

He didn't do such a move vs Milan and he almost blasted it over.

He needs to do better, he really needs to learn new movements and how to beat his defender when we are playing against a team that parks the bus. We can't afford to have him disappear against Bremer, Lyanco, Caldirola or that Shakhtar kid that looks 14. Most teams in Serie A are going to park the bus against us, he needs to learn how to exist against such opponents.

Poor match but all is forgotten because he has such a great striker partner. And also one guy from the bench. Stats from our 8 match win streak:

Lukaku 7 goals (2 pens), 4 assists
Latauro 5 goals, 2 assists
Sanchez 3 goals, 3 assists

This is a deadly trio. It has contributed (goal or assist) to 17 different goals in 8 matches.

Not a world class trio, but probably good enough to win a scudetto for us.

I want to see him destroy Sassuolo tho. They are annoying to play against.

scored a penalty in a 3-1 win vs Wales. Sucks that he had to play the whole game.

I thought our players weren't able to play until next week? Media are fucking shit, can't gather basic info. I'd at least have watched one of these games if I knew they were playing.

+1

How old do you want him to be? Younger or older than Rom?

M'bala Nzola is only 24 - 1,85m, very strong, scored 9 in 18 matches
Simy is 28 - 1,95m towering presence, very composed, already scored 13
