It's not weird at all, the media has always been hyping him up. I remember him getting the headline over Martinez because he scored the last 2 irrelevant goals despite being horseshit the whole game.

I consider him scoring against the likes of juve and Napoli a bonus, but against the likes of spezia, croton, he should have killed it today instead he was misplacing his kicks and shit.

At least we got a point, onto the next one.

Lukaku is main man of his play, in his mind only Lukaku can play target man on top.
Wingback (Hakimi) passes back to CB then make the run, CM (Barella) goes to WB position to cover, CB either loops ball to Lukaku or CM. If it goes to CM, the ball can go to either flanks or back to center, mainly Brozovic. If Lukaku has the ball, holds it back, uses strength to make the run to goal or passes to Hakimi if there is better chance.
It's our main attack routine, he doesn't run it through Lautaro hence we mainly go with Hakimi. It's very efficient against man marking team but not zone marking because we build up slow in our half, get opponent our of their zone, make more space for Lukaku's run then suddenly press hard.

Today he was locked in by Terzi, couldn't pass him or hold ball well. I remember when we have Lautaro and Sanchez on top, we play short and low ball more with them covering both sides, it's good against pack the bus game. Still don't know why he didn't try that today and use Sanchez as number 10.

Actually apart from Lautaro and our CBs, all other starters have been underperforming now that Scudetto is closer. It's gonna be a first for many of the players, so it was to be expected, it's not like we have world class players anyway.

When the season ends, we can evaluate what happened and what to do. If we can bank on Lukaku, then do it.

He had a pretty good first half. He created a chance for Martinez and a chance for Hakimi with his passing. He also held up the ball nicely three or four times.

His second half was pathetic, but the entire team's was.
