10 years of FIF
-80m Man Utd fee
-25m salaries etc
+115m Chelsea transfer
-20m last season
-30m expected transfer fee
-13m annual salary
These numbers clearly indicate we are broke.

Stupid is the world you're looking for.
Watch us sell Onana to bring back Lukaku. Then next year sell Barella because we have to compensate Lukaku's wages, then Lautaro, then... And that's on top of selling Hakimi instead of Lukaku, buying Correa to compensate Lukaku fucking us late in the transfer window and forcing a move to Chelsea, letting the Dybala deal fail in order to bring back Lukaku.

The same summer we forced Brozovic out for a ridiculously low amount because his wage was so big and we would save so much, we bring in a 30M 8-9M wages player who played like 10 decent games in two seasons.
Yeah no brainer.

It makes sense that he has so many delusional fanboys seeing how the management are litterally ready to throw everybody out of the boat so that he has a place on it.

It should be unthinkable to spend this amount of money on a Chelsea reject with no market interest, coming from two dead seasons. Yet we are trying hard to do it.

I bet after Lukaku comes to Inter, Marotta will say how Lukaku was his second best piece of business. And how he sold him for €115 M for one season, while spending a mere ~€15M for potential duration of 7 years.

So Limone wants Lukaku at any cost. But just few weeks ago Lukaku was his third striker choice. Behind Dzeko who is now gone. Was Limone really afraid of Dzeko wtf lol

Using TransferMarkt figures, we got €113M from Chelsea 2 seasons ago. So far we’ve paid €74M to Utd and €7.8M to Chelsea for the loan. Net profit is €31.2M (113-74-7.8)

Soon we will pay €30M to Chelsea to get him back. So basically Lukaku is a free transfer on high wages, just like Dzeko.

Onana is getting sold to cover the Oaktree loan. Dzeko leaving means we can afford Lukaku’s salary.Lukaku as a project itself didn’t cost us extra

Why do we expect to sign a world beater while we're broke? You guys focus entirely on the pitch while pitch has stopped being a priority ever since 2021. If pitch was a priority we would have never replaced Hakimi with Dumfries or Onana with GKs whose biggest weakness is distribution. We have become a selling club so we need to act like one. If we want to invest money then at least do it on someone younger who could bring profit (e.g. Balogun).

Is Lukaku the best player we can sign focusing solely on sporting aspect? Yes. Does he bring more guarantees on the pitch (if he stays fit)? Yes. Would a younger player be a bigger risk? Yes. But he would come at a much lower salary and with a potential bigger financial reward.

Resale value has become the most important trait a player needs to have in this Inter.

Let's take the best case scenario and we win Scudetto. Do you think it's gonna change anything next summer when reaching CL final couldn't? Suning will ask to lower wage bill again so management will try to offload one of the big contracts. The best you can do is not adding a big contract that has no resale value and is impossible to offload.
So what's the strategy? Although signing lukaku is our best guarantee for scuddetto next year as far as strikers go, we should still turn to someone younger with better resale value? And for what, to maybe avoid selling someone next year based on his big contract, although with these owners you never know we could sell someone regardless. Like wtf...

Whether we like to admit or not, we will probably be first scuddeto contenders next year and with a good reason as well, and to reduce those chances because we are afraid of someone's resale value and big contract is laughable to me...

With our history there shouldn't be an argument after "even if we win scuddetto", that's all we should care about coz financial stability and security with or without lukaku will not be here as long as zhang is owner.

How is Lukaku our guarantee for scudetto next year when we litterally finished at a worst place and with fewer points than when we had Sanchez?

Because he already won us one scuddetto with his goals. If you have someone that potentially has in him more goals, is lesser risk and that we can realistically get, feel free to add suggestions.

That's the thing. The last time we bought a striker at this price was Correa. There's obviously risk with Lukakus physicality but at 30-40m he could be an insane bargain.

Conte won us the scudetto, this year we had Lukaku and he was basically a non-factor until the Empoli game. The only two decent seasons Lukaku had since leaving ManU were under Conte who mad him overperform other than that, it's not been anything near the quality you'd expect from a player worth this much. We scored less goals and won less points with the "guarantee".

I didn't say he was The Guarantee, I said he is the best guarantee out of the other options, there is a difference. And newly arrived giuntoli and jube if It's to believe that sky sport rumor you posted, think the same.

Why are you all laughing?? Most of our fans deserve Big Rom to go to Juve and destroy our asses with the disrespect he gets here.

I don't believe that Lukaku will choose Jube, but if he does it, they definitely shall put a better offer on the table than us. Which should be more than 35mln+more than 8mln salary. I won't mind it, but who is going to our number 9 in that case?

Grande. That demented manager of Juve will really know how to use Lukaku, after screwing up Vlahovic. Moreover, it's just a ploy by the criminals to up the price of Lukaku to put Inter in future financial stress.
