Would you buy Lukaku this summer?

It's a bad deal nonetheless. He has no resale value.

He'll probably score them some goals, most likely against us because of obvious reasons. But he is and remains a fragile man baby. If you don't spoon-feed him, he'll turn his back on the coach + team.

I'm glad we're not getting him. We don't need a spoiled striker whose mentality is as fragile as a teenage girl with daddy issues.

Move on, fuck him and get a new striker.
It's only 3 years. If he is fit and in the shape, he can deliver goals enough for the scudetto this season. Remember, that Jube will have a only one game per week. After that, they can keep him for one more season and ship his as off to Saudis.
Anyway, it seems that Jube don't have that cohesiveness in their locker room as Inter's. He will be a lone striker there most probably, and without mental support, he may flop there. This is the best scenario for us.

So, this guy is really going to Jube?! 3 years contract, 8mln net and 40mln for Chelsea. Not a bad deal actually for rube. Fuck him. I cannot believe that I defended him here, and I gave him as an example, how he was ready to reduce his salary in order to stay!
Move the thread to Flamers Paradise asap. He doesn't even deserve to be a former player.
8m net means ca 12m gross. Just this year. Next year will be ca 15m gross, if I am correct.
40m for 3 years means amortisation a little more than 13m/y. The total cost will be more than 25m/y.
This is too much for us. And on top of that he is already 30yo. We don`t know how he will age. I see more a Nainggolan than an Ibrahimovic or Quagliarella.

Appreciate the reverse Falcao law here.

Romelu, I know you are reading this. I know you have lots to prove, but you should man up and prove it in EPL. I don't know what was going on in Chelsea, but I'm sure with Poch you'll have everything to be the striker they need right now.

Inter is strapped for cash and we need to move on from players we sold. If we buy you, we didn't really profit from your departure.
I wrote this on tuesday. Ever since then, the rumours went tornado wild.

I did it. I finally did it. Just feels like he really read this post and he changed his fucking mind

Music to my ears.

Sometimes we're lucky to have dumbass rivals saving us from ourselves like Juve and Milan.

I’d rather we get our striker situation sorted before that lot come to their senses and our management pivot back to him!

And deservedly so.

Many pages ago, when Lukaku moved back to Chelsea, I posted on how he was shallow and his words/gestures were close to meaningless.

Nothing has changed with him and I am happy that Inter rightfully decided to withdraw from negotiations for the player and go in a totally different direction. Personally, I feel it came a season too late. Once he made the decision to leave we should never have brought him back.

It is not surprising that he has gone to ground. He is a cowardly Mummy's Boy with an inflated ego and opinion of himself that does not match his skills and abilities as a professional footballer.

I’m patiently reserving all my hilarious vitriol for this guy once the summer transfer window closes. Don’t want to rush, some new material might come up before the end and I don’t want to post more than once
