His love for the colors is undeniable. He just costs too much off and on the pitch. We need a younger striker that's going to be a complete striker and compliment to Lautaro. He has done lots for the club, but it's time to send him back to Chelsea for good.

We don't need love on a high salary. We need performance on a regular basis for a reasonable salary.

Now be brutally honest with yourself and tell me that this kind of lack of awareness, lack of effort and bad movement isn't frustrating as fuck. He just came on the fucking pitch for fuck's sake!
Maybe Lukaku's speed was not at his max but pass in 100% possible.

Lukaku is running into a free space here, he is very close and direct pass into his left foot is also very easy.
By the way Lukaku could have missed that one also :D

His love for the colors? The man went back to Chelsea after the Scudetto without a second thought.

Yes, there was a chance to try to go for a pass, but the ball has to travel as well, it's not instantaneous. And as I said, Lukaku was slowing down and moving towards Lautaro, whereas the others were covering the space.

Right after the shot:

I've added a smudge where I'd assume the ball would have been if it were a pass. The only variable here is perhaps Lukaku, but knowing him, he'd probably pull the handbrake and be fully stationary rather than make a faster step towards the ball.

And here we are 1 second after the shot was taken:

A variable here would have been that Ruben Dias would have tried to go for the ball, meaning that even if Lukaku reached the ball before Rodri, he'd have to make sure the ball would go past Ruben Dias' potentially tackling body as well.

So yeah, a pass wasn't the best option there. And that's on Lukaku, not Lautaro.

@Brehme: thx for clearing your point with facts -
Looking at that angle - it just pushes the dagger of disappointment that much deeper.... // Playing a nearly perfect game against one of the best teams on the planet, only to see it getting destroyed by lukuku,... God, I'd be so mad if I were one of the players or part of the management.

Actually I don't mind him for a cheap loan, and if he reduces his salary up to 6-6.5 mln at most.
My arguments are that he is in form once again, and his partnership with Lautaro is great as we saw at the end of the season. This could bring us another scudetto next season, if both of them stay healthy.
He is a choker in such a high profile matches, but the chance of Inter playing CL final next season is quite small anyway.

The fact that he doesn't want to go back speak volumes.

Lukaku has done a lot for this team however his blunders in crucial games have cost us very dearly. I have been one of his staunchest defenders but I think it’s not a bad idea if we choose not to renew the loan with Chelsea. We need a revamp this summer.
problem is that they dont are looking for a decent replecement. I don't think Thuram would be a better option, or retegui.

Henry was coached by Guardiola for several years and likes the guy a lot.

And City vs Arsenal is nowhere near Inter vs Juventus, lol. That's like Inter to Sampdoria or whatever.
That wasn't the point, the point is how duplicitous and fake the whole punditry is about there, and Henry is just another douche. I won't recommend anyone to watch that shitshow so they would understand what I mean, but if you already have, one simply cannot miss it.

Just put on a "Manchester City" instead of "Italia" and they are perfectly explained in one gif. Soldout cunts to a man, cheerleaders.

I don't disagree in general, but that show is actually the best in the English language in what it does. Which is alarming of how bad the level of quality is.

And we all just want to watch Micah Richards laugh, really. Everything else is just noise :D

man the dimarco chance looks even worse looking back, look at him getting jumpy before even heading it. he's like 5'5 so heading's not he's strong point so whatever. only excuse i can think of as devil's advocate for lukuaku header is looks like akanji jumps right before him so he lost sight of the ball at the crucial moment. should still score but just wasn't our day

Yes, it's the "best" show cause Henry at least offers some knowledge.

Well, since he loves Inernazionale that much, maybe he should play for free and make up for the missed header..... I find it hard to have empathy for someone who left us to go back to Chelsea in a hurry only to come back when things didn't work out. He had a disaster of a worldcup and he is continuing his terrible form for us. So I will not shut up when he scores against a third rate team. Great players deliver in big games. Lukalu does not.

How do you even know he loves the club? Have you forgotten what he said when Chelsea signed him? I think he's just pretend-loving the clubs because of the salaries he recevies. He's just a mercenary at this point and I hope we don't resign him. We need fresh young blood.
