Eto'o is the last person in this team to be criticized. The whole burden of the attack line was all on his shoulders this season, at least before Pazzini arrival.

It's been true even after Pazzini's arrival tbh. Pazzini's been nearly invisible in a few matches (not totally is fault, he needs service), but Eto'o is really our only striker who can really create chances on his own.

Sammy is terribly tired.I think that by Leo taking him out early during the Chievo game will do him some good. Look at his play, not same. That danger is missing. That killer instinct is missing. That fear he poses to opposindg defenders is not there. I pray and hope he gets it soon for all our sakes.I think Milito being back will help because Diego can move and can create space for Sammy to shine! I missed terribly the"give and go" that Sammy and Diego use to perform to perfection and I hope we see a few of those against Schalke.. like 4 or 5 times.....:D

U hit a nerve there!! I miss that give & go too terribly...and you can still see that even without Milito he keeps trying that with other players, but they usually don't understand it! Every time he tries it, i go to myself: FUCK U MILITO FOR BEING UNAVAIL!

That "give and go" is Sammy's trademark. At Barca, he perfected it with Dinho, Messi and TiTi Henry. It takes understanding and skills between the players to get it done.Diego being an outstanding goal scorer has some mad skills in play buildup also unlike pazzini who is very static. Maybe i am being too harsh on Pazzini . I think with time the understanding will grow between Pazzo and the strikers. An inform Diego is the perfect partner for Sammy. They have a great understanding,

Yeah and I hope he will get back @ scoring because we need at least 4 against Schalke! I really mastered this situation since I refraind from bashing him in his thread.

I NEED HIM RAZOR SHARP THIS TIME! Finishing 20!

He didn't score against Lecce, milan, Schalke and Chievo so it's time for 4 goals in a match!!!!! Or at least 4 assists.... or WHATEVER JUST GO THROUGH

Anybody who bashes Sammy or intend to bash him is very short sighted.Sammy has been the only constant to our side this season. The effort he gave to our side when it seems nobody else wanted to give any, is catching up to him now.

Sammy is the only one of our star players who has never missed a game due to injury. He has played almost every minute because the coach can't substitute him. Why? because what would we have done without him because there was nobody else to carry the load.Heck ,I think he has been substituted only twice this season if i am not mistaken. He has played almost every game and almost every minute. Look at Barca during their Copa Del Rey early games or against smaller teams, Messi rarely plays or if he plays, its just for 40 - 50 minutes.Same with Ronaldo at Madrid mainly because they have players who can cover for them without losing their groove unlike Sammy with our side.

GUYS ,remember back in the day when Benitez was in charge, Sammy was wining or trying to win with players like coutinho, biabiany ,Obi and MARIGA WHILE Maicon,Milito,Wesley,Pandev, julio et al. were injured or out of form.

The man has done it all for us and that effort and strength which he used to hold our sinking ship, to keep it afloat while the others who were suppose to help him were not around ,is weakening. He needs help and instead of bashing him why don't all of us Interistas scream at the others to pick up the slack, huh. It would be foolish and stupid to bash this man.Infact anybody who does is no deep thinker. If things were right from the get go....... the right coach, no injuries, players in form and new younger players.... like another playmaking ....he would not have had to play every minute, every game and heck, he could have had some games off especially games before the big games. He is human. He is not a robot. If all these factors were present, Sammy would still have the energy to finish the season very strong. If any sensible person look carefully at all these facts, It would be stupid and senseless to bash him unless you are a pandev fan, Milito fan or a fan of any player you think sammy is stealing the limelight from or just a hater. Its that simple. *peace*

I'd rather he started scoring those sitters. Or, if not, shoot from difficult situations, at least then I am more confident that he will score. :D

The team has lost its balance. He believes that trying it himself is the better option than passing to Milito or Pandev (which to a certain point can be understood). And because of his selfishness our attack is slowed down and becomes too predictable. To pass or to dribble past 3-4 players, either way we were not going to score tonight against a well-organized Schalke defence and a good goalkeeper.

It's not Eto'o fault, its got more to do with the fact that Diego is a statue who refuses to move towards to ball or away from it creating space for him to receive it.
