i saw reports that he will stay at Venezia on a loan for another year. I dont really like that. He will probably play even less in Serie A. He should be loaned to a league where young attackecrs get a lot of chances, like Netherlands, Belgium, Austria or even German second league. He needs to score goals consistently which will boost his confidence. If he stays I can see him play 18 games and score 1 goal, which would suck.

Schira - Inter is thinking of selling Sebastiano Esposito to realize an important capital gain around € 10M: contacts in progress with Sassuolo .

As long as we insert a buyback clause i am ok with it. Sassuolo is a good place for youngsters.

Beyond being an Inter player there's absolutely no reason anyone would or should pay anything significant, especially in this market.

Sebastiano Esposito’s future could be away from Inter, with Sassuolo thought to be keenly interested in the young striker.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 18-year-old could move to the Neroverdi as part of a deal for Giacomo Raspadori.

Esposito impressed last season in Serie B, spending the first half of the season with SPAL before joining Venezia in the second half of the season and helping the club win promotion to Serie A.

Wherever the young Italian plays next season, it is thought that he is hoping for his first taste of top-flight football rather than a move to a team in Serie B.

It is reported that Sassuolo have expressed interest in the player, and that the Emilia-Romagna club would be a viable destination for him.

The Nerazzurri’s interest in Sassuolo’s 21-year-old striker Giacomo Raspadori is well-known, and should the Neroverdi be serious about the arrival of Esposito at the Mapei Stadium, he could become a part of the negotiations to bring Raspadori to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Not trying to be too harsh, but I didn't see anything in him last year that made me think he was overly special. Not particularly fast, nor agile. Zero composure in front of goal.

I'm not opposed to outright selling him.

On the other hand, this club needs to develop youth to keep costs down. We haven't successfully integrated a player from our academy into the first team in a decade. Minus those three matches where Miangue played well, only to never be heard from again.

When you see Kolarov, Young, Rano or Dambro get an extension, you see how much "trust" we are giving to youth.

Yeah, in the meantime spending 17m for Zinho to loan him out, or selling Dimarco to afford the above salaries...

Won't change in another decade.

much better than send him to Serie A or B, where he will once again score 2 or 3 goals and be on the bench. I said it before, Austrian, Nederland, Belgium and Swiss leagues are the best for young players. I expect him to score at least 10 goals.

Last year we've bought Darian Males and he spent his first 6 months in Genoa. He played there one time in Coppa Italia. Then we loaned him out to Basel and he gathered 16 appearances and 2 goals, so I think Esposito will play a lot there.

I still have high hopes when it comes to Esposito.
