I'm 100% that Marotta is gonna try to get Pjanic if we manage to get rid of some heavy salaries.

We would have to sell Brozovic first. Brozovic is asking a big raise and we cannot afford that. We need to either find the extension or sell him. If we sell him, Marotta will go for Pjanic if Juve hasn't signed him yet.

Romeo Agresti: Juventus' offer for Locatelli was €5m for a 2-year loan deal with an obligation to buy at €20m. Sassuolo are now open to loan the player for one season for €5m with obligation to buy (at least) at €30m. Juve are very confident of closing the deal.

This is a joke of an offer and the worst thing is i am expecting from Juve to pull it off. Fuck Juve, fuck Sassuolo and fuck Suning for being broke. We should have been all over this deal but instead we're simply watching Juve getting Locatelli for peanuts.

LOL. Every Juventus offer from now until the end of time. The sick thing being that it'll usually work, or something close enough to it.

Also, media linking them strong for pjanic return. If they manage to get him as well, that could be troublesome to say the least.

With us being completely broke and being a supermarket, Juve's 100% back to winning the league next season. The only question is how long their next Scudetti streak is going to be. Hopefully we end it before it gets back to 9.

Pedulla reported that Sarri`s Lazio are trying to sign Filip Kostić on a very good price!

His agent (Fali Ramadani) was in Rome to discuss for 3 hours and it seems that the cost would be commanding around 10-12 million euros.

That would be a STEAL IMO.

it's about 10-12 mln euro too much for us :D
But generally it's strange that Sarri wants him, Kostic is a pure wingback. I'm wondering if he's gonna be left fullback or left winger in Sarri's 4-3-3?

Isn't he earning 14M gross at Barcelona? Even if we manage to get a loan and pay 50% of his salary he would earn 7M here..

Would probably take lesser pay after some small severance pay by Barcelona. Even Juve can't pay his current salary. And Growth Decree don't work as he was at Italy year ago.

But Tuttoshit reports Marotta would be willing to loan him loan him for 3 years. :D

Lol, that would be a Marotta move but not even the guys in Barcelona are that stupid, right?

Sarri would certainly use Kostic as a left winger. That's where he started his career till Hutter moved him to wingback which elevated his career. Kostic isn't good enough in defence to play as fullback. And yeah. I agree Kostic doesn't make a lot of sense for Lazio. He's a decent winger but nothing special. He would be wasted there.

i guess the pjanic thing is interesting - barca dont want to take a huge write down in amortisation/depreciation this season as it further prevents their ability to sign messi/other players. So I could ridiculously see a 3 year loan actually working - it means he's off their books (any money e.g. wages is a saving), and they dont have to take a big write down NOW when they can least afford it. If you assume no one will pay for him, then you're basically loan = write down over 3 years, or sell = write down all of it NOW.

funny how accounting things change behaviours.

Exactly. They would only amortize that contract annually so not that big of a hit. AFAIK La Liga's salary cap is more like cost cap, so also amortizations/transfer fees are calculated (or at least paid transfer fees).

But anyway, loaning out Pjanic would effectively void the costs because removing his salary would negate the annual amortization cost.

But all this would be only in a case we well Brozovic. That's a tough situation honestly for us. We need to get that renewal or sell him somewhere. Or if the offers are too low, just bite the bullet and use him for the last year of his contract.

Mourinho knew exactly what he was doing when taking roma. It was a massive downsize job, for a change, and now when he inevitably fails he will have an excuse he didn't have in previous years. Roma fans were sure there would be massive investments with mourinho arrival similar to what happened to us and conte, on a basis of mourinho wouldn't accept the job without some guaranties, but I think that's exactly what happened. So if he makes something out of shit great, if he doesn't well it's roma...

Funny if Xhaka indeed extends with Arsenal. He would have been a perfect guy for Mourinho. Would suit better for slower-tempo Serie A, he would have been probably very good next season. But they didn't offer enough, not even close. Rather splashed money to 33-year-old Rui Patricio. :D

Euro helped for Seria A profile to rise, but also if something drastically doesn't change, Primera and especially Premiership will become basically a superleague for Seria A, money wise...
