Boss performance tonight. Credit must be given where it's due. He was unplayable in entire match.

Not really surprising if the reason he was being poor was the uncertainty caused by not getting a new deal that was promised to him.
He got his new deal and he looks more focused now

Still skeptical of him but he was very good yesterday. Defensive collapse from the whole team aside following Dumfries' miscontrol.

I remember him being better with the ball at his feet, but if he is just recovering confidence then I expect that to return too.

Inzaghi is leaning more toward Acerbi, when I think that him and De Vrij can actually share minutes.

I’ve never seen a player go over the hill so hard and make a comeback at a big club.

You see rapidly declining players having a “revival” by moving to weaker side and becoming a big fish in a small pond, but what de Vrij has done is remarkable.

But his lack of intelligence always triggers me. I don't mind him going for the safest option, but one would expect slightly better approach in particular moments, especially from a player of his calibre with so much experience.

He's been solid this season though.
