Kangyang and Jindong have a relationship with those guys?
yes, but I believe that was largely finished by now? I think the Evergrande bankruptcy is international debt rather than domestic debt. Suning and Zhang already got screwed with some domestic debt bankruptcy AFAIK

I havent followed it too closely, someone like Brehme can probably provide a lot more insight.

Didn't follow the Evergrande stuff in depth, I have the same notion as you.

And I also have no insight on the Chinese stuff. It's an abyss there, even the people who say they know will eventually admit that they actually don't.

If it was me I'd have no problem spending an extra 20-30mil a year on a couple of players to reduce the risk of not getting CL
The bigger question is... Can we get Brehme and (Brow)h(a) to agree on something?

Add your thoughts Brehme. You don't even have to thank my post.

Evergrande bankruptcy collapse China economy in whole.. Anything bad in China economy would be decreasing how much money Zhang family/Suning could be injected to Inter. and Zhang family's ability to pay Oaktree loan would be questioned as well.

i mean, having 0 ability to take money out of china isnt really impacted by evergrande collapse in general

i think there are some financial implications for Zhang and Suning both, but none that will make any significant difference to Inter, except potentially increasing the pressure to sell.

I dont understand the link to Inter?

Whats Evergrande got to do with Sunning, other than they're both Chinese and the government can wtf they like...
Suning financed Evergrande and when Evergrande went belly up, Suning had like 3bn receivables from Evergrande but they decided to forfeit them or whatever is the correct word. This is some heavy Chinese domestic politics anyway for certain.

To be honest they had question marks about serving the loan for the last 12 months at least.

And I would bet we will be taken over by Oaktree in May 2024 :)

zhang gona pull some magic, first in the final moments of the summer mercato, then in the winter mercato, a tight scudetto race and deep run in CL, finish it all off paying off these oaktrees

The only acceptable form of magic from Zhang is to make himself disappear...

thought you guys might like to see the relative difference, for 21-22, in our income and costs vs Milan

Significantly higher wages, amoritsation, etc - we're "saved" by plusvalenza, but still, we're like 70m worse off than Milan

Note the TV revenue is a bit messed up - Milan book all theirs in one go, we split it over UEFA vs domestic, so dont read too much into that

I have no understanding how to read that chart. Why there can't be figures for each team separately.

Blue is where Inter makes more money (income) or spends less money (cost) than Milan does. Red is where Inter makes less money (income) or spends more money (costs) than Milan do.

Milan revenue/costs for 21/22 is here, though - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...3Ob_/pubchart?oid=63925201&format=interactive

and Inter here

I find the aggregated chart easier to read, personally, but may just be me

to help with interpretation a bit - theres a decent amount attributable to Suning/Zhang - 44m in financing costs, for example, or 34mil in write downs (I think that's 8m for players and 28m for fake sponsorship, but I dont know for sure)

Interestingly, between those 3, it basically explains almost all of why our loss was 78mil higher than Milan's. BUT, it does still factor in 100m plusvalenza, so to me I would take that basically as "we need 100m a year of plusvalenza to operate on the same basic parameters as Milan, even if we didnt have our carry debt/etc"

Its not unsurprising, because our wages + amortisation are 116mil higher than Milans (50% higher!)

100M for next year, guess Inter will be putting a couple players up for another Fire Sale. Mgmt better be smarter, and have Plans A, B and C for each of those positions.
