This is the result of bottling Scudetto and ending up in 3rd pot... I hope the players learn from this and bring home 2nd star at the end of this season.

We`re not equipped to go very far in UCL anyway but at least we`re going to see some valuable encounters with top teams (worth attending).

Players will gain the best experience from matches this (unlike drawing against fucking PSV), which is considerable now that we have a stable core of players.

Every year it's the same shit. People go "Real/Barcelona aren't as strong this year, we have a good chance" and then we always take it up the ass. We were lucky last year that Shakhtar was a joke. And here's a hot take for you: we were saved by the fact that UEFA changed the order of the match days so that the 1st match was repeated on the 6th and not the 5th round, because if we went into the final day requiring a win at home against Shakhtar to advance, we would have choked like we did every other time.

I seem to recall in 2019-'20 where we had a 67% chance of avoiding the Barcelona/Dortmund group, and we ended up there. This year, entering the third round, we had a 75% chance of avoiding Bayern/Barcelona...we just can't catch a break.

This is the result of extremely bad luck. There were lots of groups and we ended up to the worst ones (for us, and everyone in pot 3).

Players don't really care about the groups and the pots when they fight for the Scudetto. That's just ridiculous, you are implying as if they didn't try enough last season.

He won’t. The odds are against us, but there is a change we make it out of the groupstage. There is a lot of money at stake, and imo players at a club as Inter must be able to deliver 2 times a week. We also have a ‘better’ bench than last season, so we should be able to rotate 2/3 names.
