Carboni is starting Serie A games at 18. Kid has serious potential. It would be a huge mistake to sell him now.

Not if we get 25 million for someone who can make an actual impact right away

He going on loan next season maybe next 2 to develop. At 25m if an offer comes that high it’s time to let him go and try to get him in the future

He seems kind of slow.

Sad thing is we are so broke we will sell him, not get anyone else and his transfer still won’t cover the interest we owe

He is slow but has very good technique and players with lack of pace can still make the difference in Serie A.

Comparing to Soule who has exploded this season - a few years ago when Soule was Carboni's age, he played for Juventus B team in Serie C, having only 3 goals in 25 matches.

Obviously players grow and mature at a different time, but the fact Carboni is getting decent minutes for a solid Serie A team at 18 is impressive. Especially considering that he was on the bench for the first 10 matches or so, so he must have really impressed in training to get the chance.

Pretty big numbers.

Let's hope we are in a situation in the summer we aren't forced to do anything stupid. If we reject 20m offer for this kid, I want to believe we have plans for him.

We already know we have to sell someone in the summer, and selling Carboni is not the worst, not even close.

I feel just..."wow" when knowing we reject twenty-fucking-millions for a kid. That means we rate Carboni 30m or more?

He should be Balo level of talents. Then mature or not doesnt matter...a random grandpa from Bologna or Cagliari is not better than him.

But is he ready enough to make an instant impact like this Arnautovic does?

Yeah really curious if 20m offer is real and we just reject it.

Of course, Carboni has shown a lot more than what Casadei did when we sold him for 15m+5m. And we aren't in a position where we NEED to sell like in that summer (2022).

I actually try to follow Monza's games cause of him. He shows defensive and build up aspects of a mezzala, on the other hand the off ball movements and the understanding of the game is crazy good for an 18 year old, he can retain and create, not to mention he also has the support striker's shots, drop back and sense where & when to attack for goal.

Also very smart with a lot of one touch plays to avoid the physical disadvantage for a 18 year old and bunch of grown men, but dribble when the time is right; his decision making might be better than a lot of Serie A players.

I am not even sure if he is really slow like many had claimed, cause I have seen moments of bursting from him; he gives of the feeling he is just selective in his actions.

I am not saying he is a speed demon though.

If he stays on course in development, give it 1-2 years he might even be able compete/challenge for first team with us.

Random EPL shitters offering 15-20 because that's nothing for them, that doesn't surprise me. But I don't believe for a single second that Fiorentina offered 20mil for him.

Interesting to see if he's sold when, we as fans, are told how much is needed for the books. Dumfries and maybe Carboni will be enough.

No one’s going to give us money for Dumfries

Didn’t fiorentina give Juve Chiesa for 20m no way they give us 20m for this kid

Have to throw in another starter then, cause Correa is worth even less than Dumfries and Carboni.

Chiesa was 10m loan + 40m redemption or something. Not 100% sure of the number but for sure it's hell alot more than 20m.

Chiesa was close to 60 mln with the loan fee and all bonuses included.

ok haha I remember you guys all freaking out that Juve got him for a steal... 60m isn't a steal. maybe it was the loan fee that I remember and was like can't believe they gave him up that cheap.

I wasn't amongst the people who freaking out, but I think most of the negativity was because the money was spread in couple of years, which was good for Jube.

Negativity was about deal structure. It was a 10m two-year loan with OPTION to buy for 40m (plus bonuses). If Chiesa had flopped Juve could have easily sent him back to Florence.

The fact Fiorentina had asked for 80m when Inter approached them for Chiesa made it even worse.
