Lazaro and dalbert, 40 mil down the drain :rollani:
Atrocious decisions when it comes to buying wide players in defense, and for years now.
More like 20 years. Especially on the left. Gresko. Pasquale. Coco. Favalli. Grosso. Wome. Pereira. Ansaldi. Nagatomo. Erkin. On the right we were gifted first with Zanetti and then with Maicon but even in that position we managed to have some gems. Simic. Helveg. Montoya. Jonathan. Wallace.

"Conte is the man who finally convinced me to come to Milan. He absolutely wanted me and made that clear to me in advance in many phone calls. Conte is a world-class coach, meticulous and a lover of tactics, who takes his players and teams to another level.”
No need to defend Conte, he was Conte's pick.
But as Rockball said, he was the only signing that is a complete dud. It just sucks that we are stuck with him with the infamous loan and option to buy blackhole.
Haha, hmm I'm still not convinced...
Only joking. Can't believe he didn't choose his boy moses at thag time. Wish he did
How do you know the market is much bigger in England? If Marotta has seen Premier League pace didn't suit him (which was true), one more year won't change anything. Better to try another environment, at least Bundesliga was where Lazaro tricked us buying him.I really don't get this deal. If we were willing to accept another loan, why didn't we simply let him stay at Newcastle for one more season where the market is much bigger? Even if he impresses at Gladbach, the chances of a German team spending 20m for Lazaro are minimal.

An astonishingly bad transfer.
Welcome back next summer.
Had some comments from Gladbach follower(s) and they consider Lainer the starting RB and don't believe Lazaro could take that spot. But RW spot is possibly one for Lazaro to steal for himself. Let's hope he sets the Bundesliga on fire out there and steals that RW spots and produces good stats.
I sincerely hope Rose sees him as a winger and he wants him to challenge Hermann on the right. If he sees him as a rb I am afraid he won't get much playing time. I can't see him benching Lainer.
In Germany, Bild reports the definitive figures of the deal between the two clubs. In particular, the loan will cost the German company 1.2 million euros, while the eventual redemption 13.8 million. So, a new chance in the Bundesliga for the Austrian side, looking for a personal revenge after the not too exciting experiences in the Nerazzurri and with Newcastle in the second half of last season.
