This transfer is questionable indeed, screams of over-pleasing Conte. I mean even if we take it only from the perspective that players need to adapt, Moses never played in Serie A, how could he make an impact right away for 6 months? Lazaro probably started to at least understand italian.

Ausilio confirmed the deal with Chelsea, this is ON, unless other surprises.

Yes, we bought Young because it was cheap. Consider we payed 1.5m for the 6 month loan of Young. 18 months if he behaves well [very smart clause IMO, will make him obey & perform].

Not a fan of Moses but the leaving of Lazaro means that Conte doesn't rate him enough and he deems that Moses could be better short term solution. Considering that he's worked with him 2-3 years ago it seems that this should be fine decision but let's see how this pal will adapt to the serie A.

Moses was great under Conte. There are not many wingbacks that are good enough for the 3-5-2 that Conte is asking. And we also don't have a lot of money for now.

To be fair, Moses has been consistently average all throughout his career, apart from the brief spell with Conte at Chelsea. So now we can only pray that Conte does his magic on Moses & Young.

To be fair Moses has never been used as a wingback, apart from his time with Conte at Chelsea, when he was excellent.
He is not technically gifted enough for winger, but his insane stamina suits WB like gloves.

Well, Moses has had one great season entire career and it was under Conte. He never played as fullback or wingback apart from that season iirc, so he may have been misused the entire career. He has the workrate and stamina Conte needs, and Serie A is slower, so he may come in handy. Not a world beater but for free, not the worst transfer you can make.

edit: we are also trying to offload Lazaro, Asamoah seems to be dead, so we are left with Biraghi and Candreva as starters, with young as backup for both flanks. We do need one more.
