If we sell Icardi and buy SMS, imagine this...

For some reason Vecino starts along with SMS and Sensi, and Dzeko with Lukaku. we might be the most dangerous team on corners.

D Vrij, Skriniar, Godin, Vecino, SMS, Dzeko, Lukaku.. Sensi whippin in corners. Thats 7 players who is tough/good in the air and difficult to mark.

There a are few things could give me nightmares and Vecino starting is one of them!

I think we'll end up with Vidal, Dzeko and Biraghi to close the window. All three will be in and out of the starting lineup. I want to believe that Lazaro will be a starter but he's missed almost all of the preseason. I don't think Conte is in love with the idea of Candreva at RWB but until he sees more of Lazaro, the former will be the undisputed starter for the beginning of the season.

I dont really have any problem with this formation except for Candreva, in fact, any formation with Candreva would freak me out, and I don't need to wait until october for that to happen anyway.

That's not even a bad lineup for a game like that at all.

Gagliardini and Candreva are a bit of a disappointment, sure. but I wouldn't doubt that team under Conte to grab 3 points against lower-table teams.

Oh and for some reason FIF thinks Politano is terrible but I wouldn't mind him in a formation like that against lower level teams either. He did it for Sassuolo.
