Cordoba is definitely one of the integral member of Inter. Just like Il Capitano. He always starts, he defends well, most of the time, he scores goals. Heck, give him the captain's armband, and he is our own John Terry. :dielaugh:

Terry is not half as good as Cordoba. It's just that NOW, Chelsea became famous due to Ru$ki billionaire and it has all the attention. If Moratti bought Inter the past season everybody would talk about Cordoba and J.Zanetti coz they would be the only "past" players(considering that Moratti would have bought the half football population!)

We can sign whoever we want but the problem is that we never seem to sell whoever WE want. We sell all of our talents. I'm sure Potenza will be sold whenever he gets good(i heard he beat up juve's Oliveira after his goal, GREAT MOVE by him!!! )


I want out all Favalli-Materazzi like players and finally have a NORMAL squad.

If we get rid of:
Favalli-waste of space
Materazzi-waste of space as well
Davids-waste of money
C.Zanetti-performs twice in a row well, then goes for a 2 month "sleep"
Vieri-unless he accepts to be a rotation striker and get lower wages
Pasquale-he'll become a good player at his late 20's!(now he's 22 i think)
Mihaeljovic-too old
Fontana-not rushing to see him off the squad, only when he retires
Ze Maria-i like him but it's not my opinion that counts
Van der Meyde-will never adabt to Serie A with this brain
Veron-good but doesn't help when we are behind in the score which is frequent
Kily-became too old and it's a matter of time he will go downhill and it wouldn't be nice that another player slip down with us
Gamarra-why not???

Then we should buy some good early 20'd players so we can have a GOOD team to compete for CL and Serie A

Some options are:
Luisao-i think it's already done
Pienaar-very talented, can play both AMC and right wing
Dede-can play all the left flank which is our USELESS part(or weak spot )
D'Alessandro-not very team working but surely he can be what Kaka' is for BBilan
Abruzzese-only if he accepts an emergency role
Cassetti-great wing back, can take over Capitano's spot when he retires
Ledesma- Cambiasso's backup or partner in field

I know I exaggerated with both Pienaar and D'Alessandro but that's how we should go IMO...

That structure should take 2-3 years to win something big but we have been waiting for nearly 20 years.....

That's a whole truckload of player going out and whole new truckload of players coming in!!

We all have been talking about continuity and stability here. And that is way off the mark.

Some players need to leave, yes, but why Veron, Vieri, C. Zanetti, Kily, Ze Maria? These players are good, especially Veron, C. Zanetti and Vieri. Veron has been instrumental in our midfield and I don't see why we shouldn't keep him here. Vieri still has something in him which can contribute to the team. Unless we get someone super in attack, I don't want to see him leave. And Recoba and Cruz are more likely to leave compared to Vieri.

I also think that if you want to get rid of both Materazzi and Mihajlovic, then you should sign 2 defenders. If we only get Luisao, then what happens if one of our three central defenders get injured? We won't have any back-ups except the inexperienced Dellafiore/Giani. I'd rather keep Mihajlovic, thank you.

I only want us to buy one or two central defenders, a striker to replace both Recoba and Cruz, and a central midfielder. That's all.

If we're going to keep making major plastic surgery to our teams season in and season out, we're never going to win anything.

I really hope we'll keep all these players. If we keep V D Meyde as well, we'll have a great group with a year of experience behind them.

The new keeper+CB+LB could just fix all of our probs without upsetting the balance of the team.

Exactly. IMO Van Der Meyde would take the empty spot while propably Luisao would be our new CB and Lb is still mystery..

Fair point, but it doesn't really matter, Mancio doesn't play with a player behind the strikers, and the few times he did (with Recoba) the results were atrocious.

yes i now and agree with you, that's not good for the team because every year there are a lot of changes and strange transfers, so it will be great make a block with 2 or 3 years of experience.

but players like davids and emre have to leave because they are not happy (i like both),others like cruz,vieri,toldo want to go,and fontana,gamarra and maybe miha retires this year, the only player i will sell is VdM i think he can do it better.
i think we need 2 defenders luizao and other with experience,a left back,a young striker to be subs of martins or adriano if cruz and vieri leave,a good keeper (i don't think carini or julio cesar can be starters in a team who wants scudetto like inter) and also veron.
i put some necessary transfers and other not necessary like maybe essien.
