... and another interesting thing about this transfer of Nagatomo:
Inter wanted to buy him completely, so Cesena agreed with FC Tokyo for the buyout (since Nagatomo was on loan for some money at Cesena for this 6 months), so that Cesena could then sell the player on to Inter. But since the confirmation didn't arrive on time from Japan (some bureaucratic troubles for international transfers occurred) Branca and the sp. director of Cesena agreed on an loan exchange until the end of the season - which is, in my opinion, the best thing we could get out.
1. We get a very dynamic, both-footed, agile and progressive fullback (which Leonardo likes very much; don't forget he used to play Antonini in Milan only because he gave a lot more dynamism to the pushing forward on the wings)
2. We finally get rid of the overhyped Santon who can now focus on it's game and show us if he can be what many expect him to be or not (I sincerly think, he will fail there too, but that's my opinion)
3. We don't pay anything if the japanese will not be good, we just return him. We pay only 4 mil. if he's good or fantastic, nonetheless - and 4 mil for a starting full back would be practically gratis. So it's a win-win situation.
Bravo Branca! :boogy:
