Cavani is mediocre, he is even below Amauri.

Cavani then again, I'd like quite abit. Very mourinhoesque.

Yep, I said that earlier too. Big body to play as target, Mourinho likes. I just don't rate Cavani too high, he isn't too great in finishing and IMO is too selfish. I mean that he doesn't have the necessary view to the game and in most cases when he has the ball tries he just tries for the goal.

Of course he's just 23, so there plenty of time to develop and I don't see why Mourinho couldn't develop him to play like let's say Drogba (not that Cavani would become as good but at least playing style wise).

I'd love to see Cavani @ Inter. He's a really good striker.

he is overrated plus palermo wont sell us him unless we bid double bide compare to someone out off seria A we should try to go to aguero we only have one creative striker i think he is just one for that job...and also we should try wotk this shit wtih balloteli it seems he is willing to stay and give his best IMHO I think we should loan him to genova next season wich would give hime time and space to develop his game and special his mind

I don't want Cavani at all. Zamparini would want too much money for him, and he's simply a good striker, not a great one.

At this point I think Cavani might be a little overrated...I don't regularly follow Palermo but it seems he's fallen off a bit in the later stages of this season compared to the beginning when he was quickly gaining popularity.

Because he is 23 I would like to see him a few more seasons at Palermo and see how he develops before making a move for him...

As for and Aguero type player I think it depends solely on the Balotelli situation, as Balotelli is a creative striker as well. If Balotelli leaves I think we should make a move for Aguero, but if he stays then Aguero would be a bit pointless.

I'm still not very convinced on Aguero in relation to the sums of money Athletico seem to want...a few weeks ago it was said Chelsea bid 40 million pounds and a few years back I remember Athletico wanted 60 million euro+. Those sums seem ridiculous for a player who seems to be hyped more for his potential rather than his actual achievements...

Balotelli remains so we won't buy any forwards like Aguero,Cavani,Tevez or whatever,I think that the only possible change will be Di Maria instead of Quaresma.

If Arna, Q, Muntari leave we can get Aguero and switch to 4-2-3-1 more often.

Cambiasso-Motta-Stankovic-Mariga def line
Pandev-Aguero-Sneijder-Coutinho-Balotelli creative line
Milito-Eto'o strikers line

Rather go for 1 great player than 4 good players. Look at what happened with our squad, we turned to be 28 players to probably 20-21, and it's much better with 20, everyone know his job.

This probably won't go down well with some, but we should have a crack at getting Vucinic from Roma. He can play the wings and CF very well, has good workrate and finishing. He'd fit well here, but realistically it'd be very, very hard to convince Roma to let him go.

i think that we need an alternative to Milito, sometimes who can give a break to Milito.

if we switch it to 4-2-3-1,i'd rather to have a player like Silva than Aguero, for a more balanced midfield and attack, also its easy to change scheme with him,we can play 4-3-1-2 as well with this scheme, just move Silva a little bit deeper, such as

Sneijder
Silva Fabregas Cambiasso.

Gonzalo Higuain recently was quoted as saying how he has spent three and a half fantastic years in Madrid and that he's proud over the achievements. Basically saying thanks for now.

Why do I get the feeling that we're involved here somehow? The new Milito?

I would definitely like to see Higuain come here. In my eyes he would be very well suited to the league and the team, and he does seem a bit Milito-esque. The strong Argentinian base in our team would also integrate him very quickly to the environment.

However I don't really think Real will let him go after this season...I'd see them letting go more of Benzema than Higuain, but Real is a circus at the moment, so you never really know what they're gonna do.

IMO I see the striker situation as all depending on Balotelli and whether he will leave. If he doesn't I just don't think we can get a famous striker because he will obviously want MUCH more playing time...In any case if he stays maybe the best solution would be to bring a young striker in to gain some experience, like Destro...

Hosgeldin.

You are right about Silva and Aguero comparison, although Aguero is better in attack, we need to have someone more balanced like Silva. Aguero would only do good to replace one of our CF's, who will not leave us anytime soon. Wrong time to get Aguero now.
