What if Marotta can take advantage of these times and get him at a reasonable price?

Inter are ready to offer Udinese up to €25m for Rodrigo De Paul, but he’d be on an 18-month loan with obligation to buy.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Argentina international midfielder is one of the first names on Antonio Conte’s wish-list for the January transfer market.

De Paul would be happy to step up his career path in Serie A at San Siro too, but his strong rapport with Udinese means any deal must be done via the club first.

A solution could be a paid loan with obligation to buy in June 2022 for a total of somewhere between €22m and €25m.

Naturally, Udinese would prefer a higher sum closer to €30m and to be paid upfront, but are also aware that few clubs can afford to splash out at this time.

De Paul is still only 26 years old and has been in Udine since 2016, with a contract that runs to June 2024. So far this season, he has scored three goals with two assists in 13 Serie A appearances for the Friulani.

Meanwhile juBentus is trying to snatch italian Rovella, the one we`ve been also linked to recently due to his expiring contract status.

Juventus are said to be in advanced negotiations with Italy Under-21 international midfielder Nicolò Rovella, whose contract with Genoa is running down.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Rovella is on the way out because he doesn’t fit into new coach Davide Ballardini’s tactics.

He just turned 19 this month and his contract is due to expire in June 2021, so the asking price cannot be too high for the Grifone.

Juve are in negotiations and could offer Manolo Portanova to Genoa as part of an exchange deal.

Roma are also interested in the Genoa youth product, who made eight appearances this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

The reason he keeps getting loaned to Arsenal in the first place is because he's never been in Zidane's favor, either.

Now, sure, you might try to argue Hakimi wasn't in Zidane's favor either, but I would say that's misleading (at best) and he's been in favor of two other managers since then. If Ceballos has fallen out with another manager, then that doesn't reflect too well on him.

Yeah I think we need two midfielders. If Paredes-Eriksen swap happens then we need to convince Udinese to sell De Paul. Both deals are tricky, but I think we need more than just one midfielder.

We aren't signing De Paul in January because Udinese is not selling him at January.

Have you guys not been following at all that we do not have the funds to do any transfers this window apart from swaps and loans? Udinese have no incentive to let De Paul go on loan. Just forget about it.

Eriksen was younger than Vidal/Ninja. He didn't work out either.

Right now we don't have money to sign the next Barella or Sensi type deal ie players like Locatelli or Zaccagni. So we are talking about a loanee or free agent or at best whatever we can get for a swap with Eriksen. Its gonna look like something the cat's dragged in.
