If we can't get Emerson Royal to replace Hakimi, I wouldn't mind a punt on this German kid Ridle Baku. He has had a great EuroU21 with 2 goals and 3 assists, which is awesome for a RB. Just assisted in the final. He plays for Perisic's former club, and has 6 goals and 8 assists in the Bundesliga last season. Between him and Darmian, we should have RWB covered, and hope Baku develops into a crack.

Transfermarkt has his price at 22m, but he will probably cost a lot more. Perhaps we can't afford him. Or maybe we can sweeten the deal by returning Perisic.

I had this guy in mind when i was trying to think about possible Hakimi replacements we could realistically sign. His Bundesliga stats are a bit deceiving as most of his goals and assists came when he was playing as a winger. He started the season as a rb but he was poor in defense so Glasner decided to move him higher and play Mbabu as rb. He has the usual traits of a wingback. Too attacking to be a rb and his end product isn't good enough to become a top winger. In theory he could play as a wingback. He needs to work on his defense but he looks promising. But he has never played in a back 3 formation. I fear he would need time to adjust.

Unlike the left side, there are some good options on the right. Obviously not at the level of Hakimi but good enough to play for Inter in our current situation. The real question is how much we can afford spending for Hakimi replacement. If we're looking for a low cost signing (20m or lower) then the options are very limited.

I think you should be saying "Thank you Inter, but its time". Mainly because this shit club offers extensions or keeps the players that are least needed.

Sky DE are saying we've agreed terms with Kostic, and are awaiting to finalise the Hakimi sale to make an offer to Eintracht. I imagine we'll try to throw Lazaro in there.

That would be great but sadly i can't see that happening. Di Marzio claims Emerson Royal could be available for around 25m while Eintracht want 20-25m for Kostic. If you got both then you would need to sell another top player in order to reach the magic number of 70m profit. If they get Emerson Royal they will probably try to sign Palmieri on loan or another low cost lb. If they get Kostic they will probably go for a low cost rb.

For me the best case scenario would be:

-you sell Lautaro for 80-90m and Perisic for 10m
-you keep Hakimi, you sign Depay on a free and you sign Kostic for 20-25

And then i wake up from the dream.
